Apparently, the only non-benign conquerors are the Austrians and the Turks.
C’mon, the Austrians bring Birneschnaps and some decent Ausleses. And the Turks bring belly-dancing, shisha and Turkish Delight. Not to mention Raki (Turkish version of Ouzo). I have some in the cabinet if anyone wants to try some. Be warned, it’s strong stuff. But nice with a splash of water on the rocks.

I think things have slowed down because of the longish time between turns.
Once the GM starts decreasing the space between seasons, we’ll see more bantering.
PS - France rules. All other kingdoms drool. Yeah!
