I think I have driven every mile of Interstate 5, but not all on one trip.
The only seafood I enjoy, not just shellfish, is fried clam strips.
I like seafood so much, but I have to worry about my thyroid. My triumvirate is scallops, crab, and mussels, but it was scallops for the win. I also loved fried clam strips.
Been to 48 of the 50 cities; only Aurora and Virginia Beach remain unexplored.
And i love many of those. Scallop and crab may even be my favorite. But mussels in wine… Steamed clams… Anyway, the ones i actually eat most often are shrimp and lobster. And i like lobster a lot more than i like shrimp. So i voted for lobster.
that requires a response
Discussion from earlier in this thread made me go out and buy sugary cereal for the first time in a while.
My work is done.
The first year PNC Park opened for the Pirates, I took my kids to a game on Father’s Day. Walking across the Clemente Bridge, a beggar (?) sitting on the walkway wished me a happy Father’s Day. He was murmuring incomprehensibly before wishing me a happy day and went straight back to muttering afterwards.
My kids both realized something strange had happened.
The game was great, then when we walked back across the bridge, the same guy had a few seconds of lucidity to wish me a happy Father’s Day again, immediately going back to babble.
Very weird experience.
I’ve driven most of 95 at some point but not in one trip. I’ve gone as far north as Portland, Maine from DC, and as far south as the Kennedy Space Center, but picking it up in Florida and driving north back to DC.
Someday, I’m going to do that Ocean City, MD to Sacramento drive on 50.
I’ve been to the airports at Las Vegas and Denver, and I was on a train once that passed through Milwaukee. I didn’t count any of those. On that same train trip we had a stop and transfer in Chicago for about 3 hours where we did leave the station and got lunch at the French Market up the street. I counted that.
Only ever been to home Orioles and home Nationals games, but at both stadiums for each.
I still have my ticket stub from the All-Star game at the Kingdome.
Some years back I got some bad shrimp and threw up. Haven’t been fond of them since.
Clams, because clam chowder, fried clams, fresh clams with garlic butter and sourdough bread, linguine in clam sauce, smoked clams with Ritz crackers.
Keep Clam!
Missed it by >that< much.
I cut myself some slack on the interstate question. I’ve driven the entire length of I-5 multiple times, but the trip I counted was one that started in Bellingham, WA and ended in northern San Diego county. I count it because I did it in one swell foop, stopping only to gas up and eat/pee. Took me just over 18 hours.
I’m going this year at Safeco Field (I know). But I won’t have a ticket stub to keep, just something on my smart phone.
I got together for drinks, years ago, with WordMan and Pulykamell, when WordMan came to Chicago on a business trip. That was something that WordMan set up with the two of us, as he knew we lived in the area, and we had a great time.
There are a couple of in-person meet-ups I’ve been talking about with specific Dopers, and just haven’t been able to yet.
I was going to go to what might have been one of the last Chicago-area in-person Dopefests, but I wound up being sick that day, and couldn’t attend.
In my ballpark poll, I’d love to hear from some of the folks who’ve been to stadiums that haven’t been around for a long time.

Tell me more!
And @squeegee, I thought I’d covered everything from the last 70 years or so. Tell me where you’ve been that wasn’t on the list.
That was my mistake – I didn’t notice Wrigley on your list. I just fixed my vote.
Southern Yankee and my wife used to work together, and his and my sons are all the same age and were in the same grade at the same school when I lived in North Carolina.
Back in the day there were regular SoCal and Las Vegas Dopefests, so I’ve met myriad Dopers IRL. Most, unfortunately, have passed on to better things/places/hobbies.
Aw. I was hoping for a good story there!
As for meeting other Dopers: I was in Salt Lake City in 2011 to see a baseball game (the Minor League Bees).
I met a guy from the SDMB for a couple beers before the game. He didn’t want to join us for the game itself so it was a relatively short meeting. He seemed like a really nice guy, but he’s since been banned from the boards; I don’t know why. I can’t recall his full username; it was (some initials)inSLC.
I’d arranged to meet another Doper in Pawtucket in 2012 after a game, but he flaked on me. Don’t remember who it was.
