It will be interesting to compare the results of the two button poll to the similar one I asked over a year ago.

Disclaimer: I am shamelessly copying a poll I saw on Reddit because I’m curious if the results will be different here. Everyone in the world must choose blue or red. If 80% or more choose blue, everyone survives. If less than 80% choose blue, everyone who chose blue dies and everyone who chose red lives. What do you choose? poll

Two magical buttons appear in front of every adult capable of pressing buttons. A disembodied voice says you have to press one of them, either button 1: a button that will do nothing if greater than 50% of the people press it, or button 2: a button that will kill every person that pressed button 1 if less than 50% of all the people pressed it, i.e. if greater than 50% of people press button 2, everyone who will press button 1 dies.
