Well, I’m not a speaker of Greek - - -
My set up is kitchen/bathroom/laundry room downstairs with a dining room and living room as well. I live alone and can wander around as I please lol.
Sometimes I stand at the sink, sometimes I wander around, sometimes I sit down and take care of other things. The world is a vast, wide and wonderful place.
::Shudder::
I know! But there are people who like it.
Too plain. I’m not a big potato person anyway. If there is an option other than fries I’ll take that. There are times when I’ll find a particularly good fry and I’ll enjoy that but it’s always better with some sort of sauce.
I’m not a big potato person, either, which means if i have a choice of potato options, i usually go with fries, because “fried” tastes good. And I’m with thorny, that if the fries are good they didn’t need a dressing. I prefer them plain to many of the dressings sometimes offered anyway. (Fries in mayo? Overdoing the grease. Fries in gravy? I don’t want them to be soggy. Fries in cheese? Too greasy and too soggy.)
I think I’ve said this before, but I mocked fries & mayo for years, until I had them piping hot at a Christmas market and loved it. I mean, people love fried fish & tartar sauce, when tartar sauce is (generalizing here) mayo + relish.
I am okay with a tiny bit of tartar sauce, but i scrape most of it off when i get McDonald’s filet o fish. Too greasy. Too saucy.
When I was in Europe in 2019 I decided to try the fries and mayo thing, just because when in Rome*… IMO it’s actually not bad.
*Actually, I was in Athens, but you know the expression. And the mayo thing is practiced all throughout Europe.
Re: the most recent poll regarding the “Mbube” / “Wimoweh” / “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” poll, I didn’t vote because I’m not familiar enough with all the versions to make an informed decision, and can’t be bothered to listen to them all, so I don’t intend to vote. Therefore I didn’t vote in this poll, either.
I have two different Green Bay Packers license plate frames on my car:
- The front frame commemorates their win in Super Bowl XLV (yes, I know, it’s now 14 years old
).
- The rear frame is a “Packers Team Owner” frame, which I was able to purchase because I am a Packers shareholder.
Exactly.

Ditto. Thank you for typing that out so I didn’t have to.
My Miata currently has a license plate frame that reads “Zoom Zoom”. When I bought it it came with one of those ugly pink license plate frames AutoNation dealerships put on their cars (Or were putting on them at the time. Come to think of it I don’t think I’ve seen one in a while). I threw it out when I replaced the temporary tag with the permanent one.
Yes, I replaced the frame that advertised the dealership with one that’s basically an ad for Mazda.
I listened to parts of all the versions. But unlike some, i enjoy the song.

But unlike some, i enjoy the song.
I don’t dislike the song. There are just other things I’d rather spend my time doing than listening to all the versions of it.
I like the Original, but I have heard others.
I’ve never tested positive for COVID. If I’ve had it, it was a very mild case that I mistook for the common cold.
I’m actually not sure if I’ve had a Big Mac. Usually when I get a burger from McDonald’s I get the Quarter Pounder. But I’m going to assume I tried one at some point.
I’m assuming “wore prescription glasses” means ones that were prescribed to me. I put on my dad’s glasses when I was a kid, and they made everything look blurry. But to me that doesn’t count as wearing prescription glasses.
I’ve attended a few middle school dances, and a college dance, but not a high school one. Yes, I did not attend my prom.
I’ve been on a mock jury that was used as a test for an upcoming trial. We were there for 8 hours and had to sign an NDA agreement.
I have rowed a boat and paddled both a canoe and a rubber raft but I’ve never been at the controls of any motorized watercraft.
