Well, Audrey mentioned it in a thread a while ago, but I finally got my roll of film developed. Yes, I’ve gone blond. My hair is completely blond. However, I still have the goatee brown. I’ve posted some pics on my web site. The page for them is: http://uregina.ca/~miller1r/robpics.html
I would appreciate your opinions (I think this is a little more MPSIMS, so I posted it here instead of IMHO). So far I’ve gotten really positive responses, except for some of my friends, who just stare wide-eyed, in disbelief. This is the first time I’ve done this. I’ve done a couple of streaks in my hair before, but not much.
So what do you guys think?
Thanks ThinksAgain. I was thinking of dying my beard too, but the thing is I had some chemical burn on my head when I bleached it (well, I used Blondissima, but I still got burned). I didn’t really want that to happen to my face. Even though my head’s cleared up, I don’t really want to risk it.
I might shave the beard, but I’ve had it for so long. From what people tell me, I look better with the beard. But that was before I went blond. You’re probably right, I might look better sans the beard. I’ll think about it. Thanks again.
I’ll have to concur with troubleagain. It would look much better if you either dyed your beard, or shaved it off. I think it’s the great contrast between the two that makes them clash.
Rob, sorry you got burned during the bleaching. I think there are some special things out there for dying the facial hair, if you don’t want to shave the beard.
I looked at your pictures again. I have to tell you, the last picture makes me smile. It’s the way your mustache follows the curve of your mouth like it’s trying to emphasize your expression. Makes you look more sad than tired.
I tried to decide whether what you did to my user name was a mistake, a joke, or a dig, but since I’ve been a supporter of yours on many a thread, I decided it was a joke. Actually pretty cute in context…
I like the blond! Its cute! The clash with the beard is a bit much, my vote is for bleaching the beard as well. (I like beards, more guys should have beards…) Losing facial hair is always mournful.
I also understand the burns are bad arguement. Glad I’m natural.

TroubleAgain, I am so sorry. When I wrote this, I was about as tired as I was in the original picture. When I read your newer post, I didn’t actually know what you meant. Then I went back and looked, and felt pretty bad. It was a mistake. I could take credit for it, and say it was a joke, but it was just me thinking faster than I was typing; the next line starts with “I was thinking…” Well, I was already on that sentenc in my head, so when I typed your user name, it kinda got muddled. Sorry about that.
No prob, Rob. I understand. It’s easy to think one thing and type something else. Actually, it fits, though. You were “thinking again,” so that’s why it fit so well.

Brood, I don’t know. I’ve had longer hair for quite a while, and I’m not sure if I’m ready to go bald. If it was the summer, I think I might try it. But it’s just too much to get used to when I’m goin to university.
