As Bruce_Daddy put it in his thread, “Half game, half vanity wank”. I’m going to expand on his options, however. Take a look at the last poster to this thread. What do you know about them?
A) Not a damn thing. Is that a guest? No, wait…it says “charter member” under their name. Huh…sorry, no recognition whatsoever.
B) Ummm…I think I’ve seen this poster before, but I could be confusing them with a similarly-named poster. Really couldn’t say for sure, though.
C) Yeah, I recognize the name, but couldn’t tell you much about them.
D) Oh, sure…good 'ol <poster> (or, if you prefer, “that dickweed <poster>”). They like to talk about <subject A> and <subject B>. I really <like/can’t fricking stand> them, and find them very <amusing/much in need of a ball peen hammer to the shins>.
E) Oooo! One of my favorite posters! I always click on threads and pay extra attention to their posts.
F) Their real name is <whatever>, they live in <whatever> town, and I have naked photos of the two of us together.
Unless I’m very mistaken, Hal is fairly well respected, and usually has something pertinent to add to any thread
Then again, he’s been known to spout nonsense - haven’t we all?
And he likes sheep
Meanwhile, while coding this - **Happy Lendervedder ** posted.
I know very little about him (her?), but I’ve seen his (her?) posts in a lot of threads.
(damn) Then **Twickster ** chimes in
She has a silly side and likes kitties
ronincyberpunk definitely gets a C. The name is very memorable. The fact that I remember very little about her (his?) posts says more about my advancing age that her (him?) as a poster. Some days, I feel like I’d give me a C.
**ronincyberpunk ** - C, borderline D, but I just don’t have enough to fill in those blanks. I like this poster, though, so the blanks aren’t bad things.
