You always sound like someone in your thirties. That might just be my impression, though. I was sure I’d read a post of yours where you identified yourself as being about that old, some reference to pop culture that I recognized. Once I got that in my head, it would color how I read everything else.

I’ve never claimed to be any older than I was at the time; but I don’t doubt that I made such reference. I’m a little more into 60s and 70s lore than the average bear [my age], and still have some hippie ideals left over from my dorm-rat stoner days back when I spent most of my time lamenting with my friends about why the whole world couldn’t just pass a big doobie around and have a big, warm, fuzzy group hug.
Anyway, I remember recently making references to Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band and The Doors’ self-titled album, and I’m sure I’ve made a good number of references to Jimi Hendrix during my Dopership, although that was more likely to happen in late 2004, when he was the Rock God of my stoner world. The one you saw might have been one of those.
