Do women experience sexual appetite only during certain time of the month (ovulation)?

From internet, class mates, books and from scientific magazine I get some ideas about female sex drive. All of they claim that female have much weaker sex drive and their sex drive has a routine.

  • During menstruation (7 days) no libido

  • After menstruation to ovualtion (7 days) libido slowly slowly increase

  • After ovulation to before period (14 days) again they return to non sexual phase

In a month (30 days) their sexual appetite lasts for 5 days and rest of the month it’s almost nonexistent. Based on the hormonal routine their body performs different works in different days. Some days are fixed for sexual appetite and other days are fixed for non sexual things.

But men sex drive is quite random. The longer they will go their sex drive get more intense. It’s not a generalization because most of our friends feel like it. If they don’t masturbate on a regular basis they get extra sexual energy and can’t concentrate to things except sex. This cycle begin from in the time of ejaculation.

According to hormonal logic. Men produce almost same level of testosterone each day every day. That’s why their sex drive always exist. But for women, they don’t produce same hormone everyday and also amount varies too much.

Women only feel sexual sensation internally during ovulation. Except this time they don’t feel this sexual sensation internally and every thing they see in non sexual way. External stimuli also can’t arouse them because sexual hormone is not available. it seems like a refractory period of sexual impulse. Except this hormonal phase women become unresponsive to “sexual” thing internally or externally.

Logically women actually don’t have to have sex or masturbate because their body automatically dismisses horniness by reducing Libido hormone Testosterone. But men body automatically doesn’t dismiss horniness by reducing Libido hormone Testosterone. Testes constantly produce this hormone so that they experience sexual urge most of the time because of available hormone.

From the day of period to before ovulation their libido become disappear, they suddenly it born. Then after ovulation its again die and again born during ovulation (next) month.

For most guys sexual urge/sex drive depends on amount of sex and ejaculation. If they go longer without it their sexual urge become more stronger and they get more sexual energy. And this energy automatically doesn’t go away until they have sex or ejaculate.
It’s said that female sexual urge is totally depends on their menstruation cycle. Their body produces sexual stimuli date wise. It automatically increases sexual urge when it is the time and it automatically vanishes sexual urge when it is not the time. Abstain from sexual relief and amount of sex do not have any effect on their sex drive.

I ask this kind of question because I feel guilty about it. Why don’t God give me a schedule for sex. Why do I feel sexual urge randomly? Why do I feel urge for my opposite sex 24/7 but my opposite sex only feel urge for me only 7 days a month because of God’s given fixed time for sexual appetite.

Amount of sex and absence from sex or masturbation does it has any effect or their libido is totally separate from sexual release?

Yes, they do. The rest of the time they just get horny.

As for men, “All the time” is not random.

I didn’t get your answer.

Yes they do. What yes? And what they do?

Here’s an odd idea to attempt to wrap your head around: women are the same species as men, not some mysterious, inscrutable aliens.

My wife gets horny when I’m around. And she hasn’t menstruated in years. I guess I’m just that sexy.

Do women experience sexual appetite only during certain time of the month (ovulation)?

No.

So, when you walk up to your female classmates and tell them you have questions about their sex drives; they reply, and you what, take notes?

Your cite is the definitely-not-impartial The Rational Male, and the first quote in the article is from Joe Rogan-“Booty is so strong that there are dudes willing to blow themselves up for the highly unlikely possibility of booty in an other dimension. There are no chicks willing to blow themselves up for a penis.”
Can you do better?

NTSA.

They smile in your face
All the time they want to take your place

Gee, I sure anticipated another annoying new rehash.

Listen, hon… I’ve got a reputation as a one-trick pony who obsesses on the same damn topic all the time*. And I think you should attempt to post on some other subject. And when the one-trick ponies are telling you that, that means you’re really hammering on the same topic.
*Which isn’t entirely true, I am at minimum a four-trick pony. Gender stuff, psychiatric oppression, free will & alternative theology, and polyamory. ginaaanr you need some auxiliary obsessions.

No.

Hm. Beating a one-trick dead horse of a different color in the mouth…

Are there no women in Ireland OP can ask?

This is in Ireland, where yelling “Brace yerself, Bridget” is considered foreplay.

And, “Fuck you, I’m drunk!”, is when it doesn’t quite work out.

Oh, please. :stuck_out_tongue: He’s not asking his female classmates, he’s asking his fellow male classmates. 99% of the time that’s how stuff like this goes.

Okay, gisaaanr, since you appear to be young enough to be my grandson, I will answer your question straight up.

No, women can experience sexual desire at any time. What you and your classmates are confused about is “estrus” (also known as “being in heat”) - periods of reproductive readiness exhibited by some mammals. Human females (and other primates) are sexually receptive at all times. They may not want to have sex at any given moment, but that’s a different matter.

Now, this is important, so I want you to remember this.

Human females do not go into heat. They are capable of having sex at any time during their cycle, and even when their reproductive organs have been removed or at an age when they can no longer reproduce.

If you are hesitant about asking family members about such things, at least find some online resources that aren’t from someone who’s as full of shit as the blogger you linked to.

The OP is largely accurate, if somewhat exaggerated (e.g. the term “almost nonexistent”). See e.g. Wikipedia on the subject, or any number of comparable sources.

This is not particularly controversial.

The backstabbers.
