When I first glanced at this forum the other day, this thread was adjacent to one that began with “What is the worst looking …” and the titles sort of ran together. I thought that was appropriate.

Conway doesn’t look younger than her age of 50 (next month, I looked up) compared to most of the unusually young looking women in that age range you’re likely to see repeatedly on your video screen, throwing in all the entertainment and media types. Whether she looks older than her age depends too much on what actual group various people would be comparing to to be meaningful IMO. But in general except my wife or every exceptional looking tv/movie/media stars who again Conway might be rather unreasonably compared to because she’s on TV a lot, I don’t except my head to be involuntarily turned by women that age. That’s just nature I think, for me anyway. Other than that, attractive compared to what, that her looks distract at a gut level in either direction from taking her seriously in her job (for good or bad)? I don’t see that.
And you can laugh it off, but come on, the ist/phobe accusations would be flying thick if this was the same question about a Democrat all else equal. Throwing in a few comments about a particular almost 10 yrs younger Democrat doesn’t change that.
I’ve come to loathe seeing her, but I guess she’s just sort of ordinary. She’s really good at her job, though. Saved Trump’s campaign.

I’d go so far as to say that Kate McKinnon is rather attractive (and joins the long line of lesbian comedians I find attractive even before I knew).
But I meant more that they seem to portray her as a pretty type in the sketches. I wouldn’t say the same thing about how she portrays Ellen DeGeneres or Hillary Clinton.

First off, it would have to actually be a crime to be a hate crime. And a violent one at that.
But even if you slipped up and meant “hate speech,” and were exaggerating for effect, it still wouldn’t be seen as bad. What matters is context. There’s a reason to ask beyond prurient interest.

This is true. I was once in a resort restaurant when Cindy Crawford walked right be me. If she hadn’t been so tall she wouldn’t have warranted a second look. She even said in an interview, “…even I don’t wake up looking like Cindy Crawford.”
