My life philosophy (right upper arm - shoulder to elbow) Needs a touch up right now.
Just for fun …this is a Frank Miller (comic artist) piece that I loved and said, “Hey, somebody should get that as a tattoo.” I thought about it and later did. It’s on my right shoulder blade.
What made me do it? Well, nothing MADE me do it. One of my best friends and I were gonna go and get it done, but we never got a good time. I went to school and the local piercing place was half off for Halloween, so I did it.
I had never heard of a guy that had it done, so I done did it.
At my height, I had nine piercings in my head. 4 in my left ear (including cartilage), 3 in my right ear, tongue, and eyebrow. I took all my piercings out years ago, but my lowest ear lobe piercing on both sides will never heal up. I had 10g rings in both.
I got a tattoo for every base that I was stationed. For me, every tattoo was a great experience. The pain of the tattoos helps me remember the parts of my life when I got them done
I had my tongue pierced and two earring holes (on each side) for a couple of years in my early twenties, but I only kept up with the normal earring holes.
My husband and I are the only two adults I spend much time around who don’t have any tattoos. I do intend to get one someday, I just can’t decide what I want or who I want with me when I get it done.
Nothing except single earrings (being female and from Spain, got those before my first nursing).
I’ve thought of getting a tat, either something small on my upper arm or larger and on the back, but it would have to be a design that really meant something for me. The coat of arms of my homeland is pretty and very “me”, but there’s too much of a political load to which version you choose.
