I don’t pee in the shower because I never have to go when I’m in the shower. I pee as soon as I get up in the morning, 'cause I really have to go. Then when I get in the shower a few minutes later, I don’t have to go.
But when I discovered the Pee Standing Up site I tried peeing in the shower. It didn’t occur to me that it was gross to do so. Unfortunately, it didn’t work for me either. I peed all over my hands enough times that I gave up trying.
Well, dudes; you DO know that urine is usually sanitary, right? Moreso than say, saliva. And certainly moreso than, as Ender puts it- armpit, crotch & anus cleansings.
Urine is clean- it is only our odd anglo-saxon bathroom hangups that make us think it is somehow “filthy”.

Apparently I have lived under a rock for 42 years. The first time I saw a woman peeing standing up was in the movie The Commitments. I thought it was odd then but after reading this thread, it’s w-a-y more common than I thought. It certainly has merit. Not sitting on a public potty sounds mahvelous, dahling!

Well, can’t say I ever have, but it’s probably mostly because I go before I shower. Peeing is the first thing I do when I get up, and it usually takes me a few more minutes to get to the showering stage. Never really thought to save it up.
Someone peeing in the shower (though I don’t do it) doesn’t really bother me. Though, I gotta say…an SO I’m showering with peeing while I’m in the shower with her…sorry, that would definitely be a turn-off in the “romantic-shower-together” department.

I think women should learn to pee standing up. It is a usefull and practical skill. The shower is a perfect place to practice.
Have any of you guys ever been into a womens public restroom? Most of them are DISGUSTING. More so than mens rooms. I am sooooo happy guys can pee standing up.
Think of the other advantages:
peeing outside
peeing outside in winter
not peeing in the hood of your jacket
