Do you still consider 500 a milestone?

That’s right, after 10 months of inane idiotic blather, SN gets to start a thread on how he has successfully stumbled upon the “Submit” button on 500 occasions, much to the dismay to the community that participates on these boards.
Mostly by creating numerous test threads and incessant double-posting.

The fact that I’m still hear and haven’t migrated to som other board is testiment to something. What it is, I don’t know yet.

What else should I say in a self-indulgent post?
Videos I saw the past week:
[li]Tetsuwan Birdy (also Birdy the Mighty[/li]In following my philosophy of do it until it bores you, “Birdy” is a four episode anime series based on a manga that spanned through all of one issue.
Basic plot: Birdy is a Space Federation Officer who’s after some alien felons.
Tsutomu is a dopey high school kid whom she accidently kills.
To save Tsutomu life (and to punish Birdy) they have to share the same body, kind of like the situation in an old Steve Martin movie.
Some of the fight scenes are cool.
I remember most in the movie was the high school entrance exam. I know and remember that dread. I remember taking the IB final exams. I remember feeling that the months and months of studing just flee my mind. The horror of realizing that even though the questions appeared to be written in English, you can’t comprehend it. That sudden fear that whatever you’ve learned in class, won’t help you in that tiny cubicle. The world spinning. The weird tingling tightness that radiates from your chest out to you arms hands and neck. The dry sweats and dry heaves. The. . .

What was I talking about again?
Oh yeah, look at me, look at me I posted 500 times!!!
Woohoo!

Well I’m impressed. Let’s see 500 posts in 296 days is an average of 1.69 posts per day. Just out of curiosity what is the SDMB records for most posts in a day and most posts total?

“You CAN’T be evil. 'Cos no matter how many ‘bad’ things you do on purpose,
you MUST be doing it because you think it’s the right thing to do.”

The next time I’m stuck in this boring one-horse burg over the weekend, I may just have to work that out. It’s an interesting question, in a mundane and pointless sort of way, but one that requires more research than I have time for…

Oh, yes, and congrats, SterlingNorth. Try not to blow anything else up.

Check, say David B. for a large number. Posts in a day…hard to say.

Or maybe Phil.

2168 posts!
I’m one of the more recreational posters. I come sometimes, say something stupid and leave.

Congratulations, Sterling! Where’s the bar? You do have a bar for this party right? I really want a Guinness.
