As of this post, I’m at 1789 posts. I was joking to someone earlier tonight that my goal was to hit 1800 before the boards went down. Now, I think I can actually do it. (of course, my slow computer will complicate matters, but the boards are relatively fast for now, so that should help) So can I do it? I’ll let you know…

It took me three months to hit 1000 posts, and people said that I posted a lot! Yay for Canuckian Wimmens! Prolific posters, we are.
Other than taxing the board, is there a point to this?
It’s ok - a lot of new people post and post and post and post a lot in their early months, then slow down when the novelty wears off. 
I mean, look at Ginger, she’s slowed down mucho!

As it happens, the hamsters decided to go down for their naptime just when I was going to submit a reply to jackelope’s thread about his getting a date on the weekend. (which would have made it post #1794) But I will hit #1800 before 12:30 PM today, you can bet on it.
BNB, it may or may not tax the board. At the time I posted the thread, the board was running probably almost the fastest I’ve ever seen it. (which may or may not have anything to do with the fact that more posts tax the board)

Well, not even my prediction of a couple hours ago has come true. Of course, this is now post #1800.
The point was to see if I could do it… since I have failed so miserably at it, I will no longer do these types of things. (at least, not with so little time to spare)

I’m not gonna tell you not to post, you obviously have a lot to share. How else would you have gotten to 1800 posts so quickly?
But if the only reason you post is to beat a silly self-set goal, then yeah. That’s kind of annoying with a board that runs lightning fast, and downright pointless with a board that’s always inches away from crashing anyway.
