I think Kim is serious, it’s good for his image and life expectancy to be the supreme leader who got the world to start trading with N.Korea and massively raise his people’s standard of living.
There’s plenty of monarchies and dictatorships that rich countries are willing to deal with without trying to regime change, I imagine he’s aiming for that.
Very little chance of him giving up nukes any time soon though, they’re what got him to this point. Maybe after 10 years of US & Chinese funded infrastructure development.
The video is similar in style to the propaganda N Korea makes. I assume the goal is to stroke Kim’s ego using a method he’s accustomed to seeing. This is the style video he’s watched his whole life. There’s a reason Kim is bat shit crazy. 
I am disappointed the US agreed to stop joint military exercises without getting Kim to sign the original treaty ending the war.
There’s a truce. War could restart at any time. It’s pretty stupid to end joint exercises with Korea’s military forces. It’s critical that both forces command can work together seamlessly.
Shodan: after reports that NK has increased uranium production, despite Trump’s assertion that we had no more worries about a nuclear threat from NK, and despite Trump ending US-SK joint exercises, do you still think that Trump’s team correctly assessed the seriousness of NK’s willingness to negotiate? Do you still think it’s wrong to criticize them for how they handled this farce?
