Do you wear shorts or pants at home?

Seriously? People change when they get home? I mean, I’m never exactly dressed to the nines when I go out, but I wear jeans and a medium-nice t-shirt (at worst) every day, from right after I shower until I go to bed. Sure, I’ll take off a tie (on the extremely rare occasions I wear one) in the car on the way home, but that’s all. Weekends, I’m wearing the same as I do weekdays.

Being retired, I can wear pretty much whatever I want when I get up, so it’s usually shorts or sweats and a t-shirt. I live in a ground-floor apartment which faces the front of the building, so walking around in my underwear or naked is not an option unless I want to keep my blinds closed and run up my electric bill.

When I did work (or when I come back from shopping or whatever now) I generally changed into shorts or sweats when I came home. I see no reason not to be comfortable when I’m by myself.

Word. My nickname at home is ‘‘O Pantsless One.’’

I’m not wearing any pants! Typically boxer shorts, because I live with some apartmentmates and the boys dont like drafts.

I am a short order cook. When I come home I stink. So when I get home everything has to come off. Not saying that they wouldn’t if I worked in an office. Besides I am doing my part to save the environment by cutting down on my laundry.

As for being cold, my apartment usually between 68-82 (yeah my thermostat is that bad). If it gets cold I wrap a blanked around me or maybe put on sweatshirt.

I dress casually at work (chinos and a tailored t-shirt) but the pants are still too constricting at home. I can’t really relax on the couch in pants or jeans.
