Perhaps we should create a sub-forum called “Obvious Pittings” with perpetual threads devoted to Hilter, the BMV, MicroSoft and, of course, Nancy Grace.
This might be worthy of its own thread, because I can think of plenty more permanent Pits. Her aforementioned beloved Anne Coulter, Rush, O’Reilly, Bush, Cheney, Paris Hilton all come to mind faster than I can even type them.

The first time I saw her show, I was convinced it was a bad comedy drag act, ala Briny Maxwell meets Law and Order. I’m not kidding.

Same for me. I watch American television about one evening per month. When flipping through the channels there are usually shows on sooping up cars and motorcycles, on Hitler and WWII, on people sniping at each other (Survivior etc.), on endlessly dull cops and rapist and killer procedurals, and on what used to be talk shows that have now devolved into trash TV – I had simply assumed that Nancy was another Jerry and Maury offering. It never occcured to me that her’s was a news show.
Glad we have the CBC and CTV up here, where news is usually news, rather than trash TV.

For someone who had tried, convicted, and sentenced alleged rapists on her show before any of the courts had, I think calling it a “news” show would be fair.
