Did my elephant get lost? I’ve put ele-bait out every day and still no ele. 
So, I haven’t gotten mine yet either. I keep forgetting I’m expecting it, in fact, so it will still be a nice surprise. But if anyone happens to have sent me something and were waiting for a post full of “Ohmigawd, this is awesome!!!”, that’s why I haven’t posted it yet.
My apologies for not responding sooner–it’s been nuts at work.
Yes, we did receive another box (the third!!), and Hallboy was thrilled at what was in the box. He loves the star light (I was supposed to hang it in his room this weekend). The Halloween Ghost lights–wow. Just wow.

Well I did want to send something big and white. The star light just didn’t work in my room after I painted it and I don’t have a garage so sending it to you was perfect for me.
I thought you were a gay guy (didn’t search the boards before I sent it), so that’s why I included the hankie. 
I thought there was some sort of “message” attached to different-colored handkerchiefs and which pocket they’re in, but didn’t know what that would “mean.” Do tell!
Still no elephant here.

Well…yellow hankies mean you’re into “water sports”. I’m not, but the story of why supervenusfreak was all atwitter is funny, so I’ll tell it…
We went down to DC to attend Mid-Atlantic Leather last January. MAL is the BIG East Coast leather party/convention and, well, leather folk are into some interesting kinks. I, myself, am about as vanilla as it’s possible to be, and was slightly overwhelmed just by the vendor room. Of course, the hanky code is in full swing in that community, as well as other subtle cues (like red or yellow piping on armbands or pants).
We were staying with a friend in Falls Church who was into the whole thing, as well as some of the kinks, and one morning after getting dressed I walked into the living room, where he was waiting for us to get ready. I had, without even thinking about it, brought this bright yellow t-shirt I own and had put it on. As I walked out of the bedroom, our friend’s eyes lit up (with amusement, as he knows my vanillaness) and he said, “Good morning, piss queen!” It took me a good 30 seconds to realize what he was talking about, and I gave a little shriek and ran back into the bedroom to change.
supervenusfreak seriously thinks that’s one of the funniest things I’ve ever done since we started seeing each other…
I got no elephant either…Canada Post did say 10 - 15 days to get to you, 'nurse!
I’m hoping for the pitter-patter of little elephant feeties any day now … I’ve had such a crappy week, that I’m really hoping it comes soon!
No problem, I’m just excited! 
No elephant here, either…and I sent mine over three weeks ago, priority, and my elephantee hasn’t checked in yet. I’m starting to fear it was lost, but if I knew for sure I could put together more [del]junk[/del] goodies and try again.
You didn’t get mine? I sent it a long time ago. Oh dear.
I just sent you an e-mail to verify your address. let me know if it’s right, and if you ever got it. I sent the package September 22, Priority! If you didn’t get it, I will send another package by Friday…

Well, after an email exchang with Anaamika, we’ve figured out the problem. ME! When I signed up, I send Ginger the wrong address. :smack: I’m hoping that the package got sent back, because the address I told her to use just doesn’t exist! Maybe I’ll call the post office tomorrow …

I got it (a few days ago, and kept forgetting to tell you!) I think your name was on the inner box. There was tea! And movies! And stuff!
I also have recieved a third - no name on it, but it was mailed via UPS out of Philly. The basket is actually a really, really useful thing for me, and everyone in my dorm thanks you (whoever you may be) for the cat-dish-bowl-thing. It gets to serve as a candy dish in the hallway. (It seems like selfless generosity, but it gives me the excuse to A) buy a big bag of candy, and B) grab a couple peices every time I use my door.)
