opps, the herd took a bit of a detour. they are now heading west, north west, and south, south west.
the fellow at the ups store was rather baffled by the herd. i’m hoping he was able to steer them correctly.
they should arrive in 5-7 business days.
A certain maternal feline should be receiving her elephant(s) within a week. We’re taking them down to the post office tomorrow morning on the way to the RenFaire.
I posted the first of 2 packages yesterday—I have a smaller padded envelope of stuff I forgot to include in the box. Anyhow, they are traveling to the home of my elephantee. Although, if she is not there, I suppose the post man might have to leave the box in the garden.
Wow, lorene, thanks! The first box traveled fast. It wasn’t exactly in the garden when I got home today, but among the planters on my stoop. I’ve already used one of the shampoos. My niece and nephew will love using the sidewalk chalk. They both love to paint and draw when they come to visit. I’ve been meaning to get some chalk for them and now I don’t have to. And in lots of cool colors. Yay! The sauces sound interesting - definitely not something I’d buy on my own, but they’ll be fun to try. And well…who doesn’t need a copy of the White Trash Cookbook? Oh…and the frame actually coordinates really well with three that I have in my bedroom. I know I’m forgetting stuff, but I wanted to make sure you knew how much it was to receive the box. It was just the pick-me-up I needed - it’s been a long week.
tanookie, glad the box got to you and you’re able to use some of it… I can’t remember where the dishrags came from, but they’d been sitting with my dishtowels for ages (I use a brush) and I just threw them in there on a whim. I painted the birdhouses myself and had planned to install them in the garden, but then I found something that went better in the place they were going to go. Glad your daughter’s enjoying them!

I found out today what the “silver thingy” is… I saw an identical one in a catalog its a Hair stick. You know, long hair wound up with a stick through it?
Did anyone get to send anything to Canada? Seems U.S. postal service is a hell of a lot faster than ours.
I may pack some other stuff because apparently I didn’t pack quite enough, judging by other 'phanters!
I will finally be making it to the post office tomorrow. My car died on Friday, and I got it to the shop today.

Auugh! I’ve got the package all set to go, but I can’t get rid of it! The only way I can get to a post office is on Saturdays, and it’s closed by the time I get there. I could send it UPS if possible, but I need a phone number. alice_in_wonderland, is there any way you could get a hold of that for me, or is it okay if I wait until this Saturday to try sending it again?
OK - the package is ready to go and will be sent on the way eastward at lunch time today. Pennsylvania, look out!!!
