Does anyone here like eggs?

Well I was just wondering if anyone here likes eggs. I had scrambled eggs a while ago but I also like fried eggs. What do you think about this?

I love eggs, prepared pretty much any style.

Scrambled, over easy, hard boiled, deviled, egg salad, omelette, quiche… yeah, I like eggs.

Well, I have a sort of love/hate relationship with them right now. I like to eat them, but since we recently adopted a bunch of chickens, we’re getting way too many of them. Some days we get as many as ten eggs, and that’s like, eight too many. “Bad! Bad chickens!”

Nobody likes these eggs.

Just finished having two fried eggs and bacon for lunch. Yum!

The last few Sundays I have made a batch of egg “muffins” to have for breakfast during the week, as I feel like I do a little better on my diet if I have protein in the morning. This recipe is very customizable, you can add whatever meats, vegetables, shredded cheese and spices you like. Sometimes I add minced regular onion rather than the green ones. I put the minced onions and peppers in the microwave for a minute before adding because I don’t like them crunchy. The muffins keep great in the fridge for a week.

I also wanted to put in a good word for deviled eggs. They are the best.

As long as they’re from free-range, pasture-raised, hormone and antibiotic-free, non-gluten or GMO fed, organic chickens with piped-in classical music, safe spaces and optimal retirement plans, I’m OK with eggs.

Especially fried eggs with yolks available for dipping my hash browns into.

Eggs with liquid yolks and solid whites are best.

As long as you have buttered toast.

I eat eggs regularly. Over easy or scrambled.

I have an egg poacher and that’s the easiest way for me to make them at home.

I always eat them on toast.

Eggs are good, pretty much however they are prepared. Now, I want eggs.

I loathe eggs. I hate the smell of them, I can barely watch a commercial for Egg McMuffins. Someone (may have been here) suggested it may be the sulphur smell of them. I’ll bake them in a cake but I’d go hungry before I’d eat an egg.

So, please, you are welcome to my share!

Moving this to where the food goes.

Why yes, yes I do. You offering to cook me some?

Yet golden treasure inside is hid.

Only scrambled and cooked until they are not the least bit runny - I can take a little glistening now, but not that long ago I needed then completely dry (and preferably a little brown around the edges). The thought of eating an unscrambled egg yolk makes me gag - I can eat the whites of a hard boiled egg, but only after I remove the yolk and clean off the indentation where the yolk once was. Fried eggs, poached eggs - forget it.

I have recently learned to choke down deviled eggs, as long as they are spiced up enough.
