Does anyone like the Pontiac Aztec?

Hey Aussie Dopers, I hear that the Range Rover is the best thing to get lost in the Outback with, since the rescuers can always follow the trail of parts falling off. Any truth to this?

It tries to combine a car with the trendy SUV’s.

Which, of course, makes it this generation’s version of the El Camino, and we all know how stupid those things are…

Perhaps they’re not quite so butt-ugly when covered with mud. Having never actually driven one, I would be hesitant to declare them a total failure. They are uglier then hell, tho, especially that rear hatch.

Personally, I always thought El Caminos were cool, but Rancheros were cooler

I saw the Aztek at an Auto Show in NY and fell in love with it. I like the optional air mattress in the back and may get one next year. Then again my choice in taste may explain why I’m still single
