Theodora definitely out-whored Madonna. And while Madonna’s name is impressive, Theodora is actually a saint.
The Open Your Heart video has a scene where Madonna kisses a young boy on the mouth and at the end goes skipping off down a road with him. The video was somewhat sensational at the time, and given her image it may have given rise to rumors that she sought out young boys for sex.
Regarding her looks, I’ve never found Madonna attractive at all and have always wondered how she managed to create a career based on being a sex symbol. I’ve also found what I know of her personality to be extremely off-putting and have wondered from time to time if she has a genuine friend in the world rather mere hangers-on. Having said that, however, I find her recent look an improvement. So much so that now I almost find her attractive.
That picture was taken on the red carpet for a Gala Premiere of her new movie (she directed it) W.E. so I would certainly expect her to be made up well for the red carpet. Here is a full-size version. Click through for more.
Here is a picture of her without makeup during the filming of the movie. I like the look, she looks geeky and interesting. She sure looks a hell of a lot better than I do or ever did.
She doesn’t look like a “whore” made up or not. She looks like a woman who’s lived an interesting life that will attract threads like this because, well, because some people have to make threads like this.
And accusations of being a pedophile? I hear Lynn Bodoni starves and mutilates kittens for fun, so she has no fucking room to talk.

Madonna’s main physiological issue re “looks” is that she works out feverishly to stay in shape and is very lean and muscular. She’s more muscular and harder than she was in her 20’s and 30’s. This results in a body with relatively little facial fullness and gives you a sharp featured look that is associated with poverty and (to some extent) being a skanky old whore.
Physically she’s in fantastic shape, unfortunately being lean and wiry doesn’t always work to a woman’s advantage for maximum attractiveness as they get older.

Yeah, I have to say, she looks more attractive than I’ve ever seen her, really, in that picture. Don’t get the “old whore” comment in the OP at all.
I would join her fan club if: she’d do an update of that photo where she’s biting that guy’s buttcheek, but now it’s a picture of a set of dentures clamped there.
She’s a woman who has always been openly sexual in her music and videos, and that upsets a lot of people. Women aren’t supposed to like that stuff, or if they do like it they’re supposed to keep it under wraps or else be called all sorts of names. Of course, with Madonna, people have been calling her a whore since the moment she hit the scene, same with most female pop stars. My guess is that she really doesn’t care what any of us think and is laughing all the way to the bank, but I still don’t care for the whore, slut, tramp labels. That they still get thrown around anytime a woman bares a little cleavage is pretty f’n sad.
I’m still waiting for Lynn Bodoni to provide a cite to support her statement that Madonna was well-known for trolling for underage boys.
Also, women are supposed to become invisible after 40, and she never did. So that makes her an “old whore.”
I did some rainy day googling and didn’t find anything more substantial than random messageboard posts on the order of bodoni’s so i’m ready to chalk this one up to not bothering to fact check stuff you want to be true.
While not “underage” her taste for 20ish young boytoys half her age is well known and hardly needs a cite, but here are two below. She’s not any more “creepy” than older men who like keeping young girls handy for sex and companionship, but she’s not any less creepy either. The truly oogy thing is not her dating boytoys, but the the first cite where she wants to bring home a man young enough to be her son, and have her kids looks to him as a “role model”. That gives the oogy creep shivers.

Madonna was pretty sexy and had a nice bod back in “Body of Evidence” ('93), IMHO.
Now that she’s an aging British Kabbalah-ist, she’s not attractive to me in the least.
But it’s nowhere near as “oogy” as luring children into her car so she can have sex with them, which is the specific accusation Lynn Bodoni made against Madonna.
You know, perhaps it’s the librul in me or something but I see a world of difference between dating people in their 20s when you are in your 40s or more and luring teenagers into your sex limo. There’s 10 years of maturity between a 25 year old and a 15 year at a time in the human lifespan where those 10 years really mean a lot. A 25 year old is pretty much assumed to have their head on straight while a 15 year old is a little more rash. That’s why we have laws regarding when, if and who they can have sex with, but all we ask is that the 25 year old carry some condoms, please.
Dating people in their early 20s while you are in your 40s might be very vaguely creepy, but the specific accusation made was that it was “common” for Madonna to lure underage boys into her limo and have sex with them. I am waiting for a cite to back up that accusation, because it’s a pretty vile one to make without any proof.

I’ve never gotten the sense Madonna had a “personality” in the way most people would understand the word to mean. Her personal purpose seems to be purely the accumulation of fame and money. Her public display IS her personality.
