There is no age given because it’s an excerpt from the book but it’s not an excerpt from a longer story. As near as I can tell, it’s a memory of a fictional character named Mistress Dita created by Madonna to serve as the narrator and voice of the book. So, while it’s possible that Madonna craftily hid a story of a true sexual encounter with a minor in an otherwise book of fiction, I suspect it’s more likely just her being arty and edgy.
I don’t think I’ve ever even seen a copy of Sex, but it came up several times when I was in library school as an example of one of the most controversial books a public library would have been likely to own. It’s my recollection that the text of the book is fiction.
Pulling back a bit, while I can easily believe that Madonna has been rumored to have sex with underage boys, if there were any evidence of this it wouldn’t be hard to find a reliable cite. Heck, it’s unlikely anyone would have even asked for a cite, because a story like this would be well known. Madonna has been one of the most famous women in the world for over 20 years. She’s in the news all the time, and jokes about her sex life were (maybe still are) common in late night talk show opening monologues. I can think of a number of other celebrities who’ve been accused of having sex with minors (Michael Jackson, R. Kelly), and these stories were talked about again and again in the media. With both Jackson and Kelly there were lawsuits or criminal charges brought against them, but again, Madonna is a huge celebrity and she has plenty of money. If she were actually in the habit of having sex with underage boys or even widely believed to do so, then I’d expect that someone (truthfully or not) would have come forward. I’m sure there would have been plenty of people happy to believe that Madonna had committed sex crimes.
Madonna’s book is not autobiographical. You might as well accuse George Lucas of genocide because he made Star Wars.

Yeah, I should have phrased it better. What I mean is that we should be trying to change the connotations of the word. And in fact Madonna calling herself a slut is one of the ways of attempting to do so.
Oh, and also add me to the chorus of voices that charges of pedophilia need to have a heck of a lot more support than rumors and hearsay.
