Does Trump ever laugh?

I wasn’t under the impression he was going to do it personally. Rather, it would be policy carried out by government agents of various stripes. And his fans cheered at it.

They you’re in for a tiring few years.

I’m pretty sure that Trump laughed (dismissively) when advised not to look directly at a solar eclipse.

He seemed to be enjoying himself when he was hanging out with Duterte too.

Here are 25 seconds you’re going to have trouble explaining:

I agree with the posters who say there is something wrong with Trump. There’s a collection of photos out there that compare Trump to Obama at various functions. Things like the White House Easter egg hunt, pardoning the Thanksgiving turkey, and just spending one with their respective families. The ones with Obama show a happy man who enjoys spending time with his family. The ones with Trump show him looking unhappy, and Melania not loooking very happy either. Melania appears to have been more comfortable with the Obamas and Bushes at the recent funeral for Barbara Bush than she does with Donald. My guess is that he is probably miserable and is making everyone else around him miserable as well.

I think I saw him smile a few times, but I’m pretty sure it was gas.

Hey that’s quite a video! Totally not surprising, truth be told. That guy’s a Repubican hero. Here’s an interesting thing: this video of President Obama in a similar situation was linked on the side there on the Youtube page.

Wait, are you saying Trump has friends? Who is friends with Donald Trump not because he’s a business associate or a lawyer or otherwise someone who needs something/is hired by Trump? Who on God’s green earth would hang out with Donald Trump solely for companionship?

There are probably two or three people. Seriously. That’s the kind of guy he is.

Back in the 80s and 90s when he was just a glitzy public figure of New York rather than the President, there were probably lots of people who loved hanging out with him, but even of those superficial ‘friends’, I’d guess that he only trusted a handful.

Ghouliani seems to get along with him, but they’re both soul-sucking demons from Hell so they have something in common, anyway.

If someone want to look less like an idiot in a picture, put Rudy on one side and Bolton on the other. Suddenly, you look like the genius in the crowd.

They’re gingers?

Great comparison. (Can you imagine a Trump staffer putting an arm around Trump–under ANY circumstances?)

One hopes that anyone posting propaganda along the lines of ‘Trump has a big heart’ or ‘Trump cares deeply for his family’ is being very well paid to do so. The mind boggles at the concept that someone would take the time to post such bilge for free.

It boggles my mind that people could fail to understand how someone could have a big heart to his own family and close personal friends, but be a huge asshole to everyone else. That’s my only point. Trump isn’t a nice guy, I don’t think he has any appreciation of the deeper things in life, whether it’s music, art, philosophy, nature, fishing, religion, or anything that’s not superficial or involving the acquisition of money. But I don’t think he’s some kind of sociopathic monster who lacks all capacity for empathy or humor. Come on!

He eats well-done steak. He is a fucking cretin when it comes to the appreciation of fine things in life. His whole persona is like what a dumb rube’s idea of a rich man’s lifestyle is like. He has no class, no taste.

His plane even looks like shit. God, if someone gave me the means to design my own jet livery, I would come up with something that looks like at least an hour was spent designing it.

There’s no way to know what’s in his heart of hearts, but all we can tell is his actions. And his actions are that he treats his family like shit.

Jacque, what you are missing is he is utterly devoid of sincerity. What people who have gotten close to him have said is everything for him is transactional. He uses language for whatever he wants at a given time; that’s why he contradicts himself nonstop and does so without regret. He’s playing a different game in life than those who believe a word or promise has any worth in committing to. He treats him family differently because they’re a more permanent extension of himself than all others. It’s still transactional.

The thing is, this is ultimately why everyone treats their family differently. This specific characteristic isn’t unique to Trump. Trump’s problem is that, for everyone who’s not his family, he either treats them like shit, or kisses their ass because he wants something from them.

Trump has no ‘big heart’ to his family. His family is currently a gold digger wife, a couple of pretty stupid sons (I’m not including Barron her. I feel sorry for him.) A daughter that he seems to lust after and another daughter that seems to want to put a lot of distance between her father and her. I suspect that Tiffany is the smartest one of the bunch.

The NICEST thing that can be said about Trump is that he is a stupid asshole. I won’t fault him for being stupid. Some things can’t be helped. But you don’t have to be an asshole just because you’re stupid.

I will call fault for so many reasonably intelligent people that voted for him.
