A cute bit of trivia. The keyboardist in that video (can be seen at the 4:12 mark) and in the inauguration video played Stephanie Mills in All in the Family.[/quote]
I still want to know who the blonde with the black rimmed glasses was at 0:20 in the video.
He’s going to continue to con people. He’s never going to stop that. It’s the only thing he’s good at. I don’t believe he will ever truly face any real consequences for what he’s done, and what he will continue to do until his last day on earth. But for now, I’m just relieved as hell that his finger is off “the button.”
I think the most obvious way he can possibly recover is to lay low for a few months and then come back on the air whenever Biden’s popularity dips or whenever something triggers white rage, like a terrorist attack or some crime committed by an undocumented immigrant.
But at the moment there are no guarantees: his status with some of the nuttiest of the right wing nutters is in jeopardy now that QAnon seems to be essentially exposed as a fraud among the last of the believers.
At the moment, he’s probably of no use to Putin or other pro-Russian oligarchs - they’ll try to find another stooge. Russia will generally be the subject of intense counter-intelligence efforts within the intel community, so it’s going to be harder for them to troll the way they’ve become used to.
Well, this is a bit late, and I may have missed if anyone posted it already, but this is a fine ending to the reign of terror, even if it’s a day late: A parody of One Day More from Les Miserables from James Corden and many Broadway stars - celebrating the end of having to ever hear about Don the Con again. It’s fantastic! (It actually brought tears of joy to my eyes)
I actually loved this. Thank you. Joe Biden, you are a better man than I am. You’ve said that if even one person talks back to a Breitbart jerk, a Hannity dupe, or crazed alt-right meth-beard, you’d fire them on the spot. I have to be honest here: this is why I could never work for you.
James Corden you are magnificent… your POV is the right one of course. Its just that I’ve seen the evil that they’ve done. I’ve seen the faces of our honored dead. I’ve seen the families starved, the children caged, the money stolen, the bribes taken, the Pardons paid for, the laws changed to rape the lands and to make sure that the criminals all go free. Both Corden and Biden are better men than I am, because I just can’t let that all go. After four full years of being cheated, robbed and punched in the face and the gut at every turn, I just can’t let them go.
Give Cap back his shield. I don’t know what I am; I just know that I can’t be That. There are too many crimes to just forgive. Prosecution before Unity.
There are more events between God and Sundry than can be told between sips of wine given even your massive Cellars, Horatio. I sure hope I can remember even 1/3 of them for a book some day.
