I figured he would start floating this. He’s likely too lazy to follow through and wouldn’t get very far without his favorite social media platform, anyway.

If it gets all the crazies to switch to the far right party, where they can be safely ignored and marginalized, then maybe that means that the Republican party can become a bit more sane.
I disagree with much of what the Republican party stands for, but at least it is wrong within normal parameters, as it were.
Many people voted for Trump last time around out of habit, tribalism, or party loyalty. They went in and put a check next to the R on the ballot. At least those people would no longer be supporting Trump and the party he represents.
It would also split the vote on the conservative side, giving the Democrats far more ability to win elections.
Call it the National Front, like they do in France.

The National Front is the UK far-right party. France’s version changed its name from National Front to the National Rally.

I wish! For 2021, may hundreds if not thousands of the most beautiful of the gender you like best clamor and beg for just one night in your bed. May the wine cellar beneath your home expand to the length and breadth of an underground football field… and always be fully stocked.
I think the likelihood that Trump had any input int he contents of that note is probably equal to the chance of his winning the Nobel peace prize. I’d lay even odds that he wasn’t even aware of its existence.
