What with the anti-Hillary sentiment and the lack of experience with Trump, I can understand how the undemocratic Electoral College system would let a minority candidate slip into the presidency. However, after 4 years of seeing and hearing this man and seeing first hand his total lack of honesty and character, there are no excuses for 2020. If this man wins again, then it will reflect on what can only be described as a total lack of national character. The world awaits.

A president is limited in what he can do for or against abortion - most of that is at the judicial level - but he has appointed lots of conservative federal judges. Which is - really - about as much as he can do.
I agree - as I’ve said before on multiple occasions, if people truly believed abortion to be murder, they’d be ransacking clinics, shooting abortionists, carrying out widespread picketing and violence. But - in terms of intellectual soothing - a pro-life Trump voter can mentally excuse virtually all of Trump’s flaws by saying, “The Democrats endorse the murder of 1 million babies a year.” With that sort of argument, you get peace of mind on virtually everything. Virtually nothing Trump does - locking kids in cages, rage-tweeting on Twitter, betraying allies, etc. - compares to the murder of a million babies. On the mental scale of good and evil, the million murdered babies simply carry so much mental weight that they outweigh anything Trump does. So they can vote for Trump with a clear conscience.
A function of the overall Obama economy that started in 2008. And the unemployment figures, while low, are not record lows. And income disparity has worsened (A lot of those jobs are at Wal-Mart)
I have been working in the construction industry in NYC on and off for 20 years. He was a crook then. Those stories about him not paying subs are absolutely true. And his first project (Grand Central Hyatt) was a con job as well, built on lies.
