Donald Trump wants to know "Why are people so mean?" This is the thread to tell him

Some people are so mean because they have been shielded from any consequences of their actions by wealth and power, leading to a shriveling of their conscience and empathy.

I always loved their defense for that one. “He wasn’t making fun of that specific disabled person, it was just his usual “ret@%d” impersonation!”

Uhm, guys? That doesn’t make it better.

I liked this one.

Martin Avila told Fox Business that RightForge “believes in the mission of President Trump’s free speech platform”.

Another one bites the dust!

They’re fucking morons.

Trump has been brooding about meanness for quite awhile.

"…in an Election Day (2020) interview on “Fox & Friends,”…co-host Ainsley Earhardt asked Trump whether he has enjoyed being president and if the job has been “worth it.”

“Well, it’s been mean. It’s been — you’ve dealt with horrible people,” Trump replied, adding: “You deal with people that are very deceptive.”

As for why people are being mean to him lately, it must be because they’re jealous of his greatness.

A better question: why do billionaires always play the victim?

It’s a dangerous mistake to assume that everyone “deep down” feels and functions in a similar way to normal people. I don’t know if Trump is a psychopath, but he may well be - and the brains of psychopaths are qualitatively different. You cannot assume that he feels anything like you do, even deep down. He may well be able to act with ruthless self interest, inflicting untold harm on others without the slightest twinge of empathy or guilt. All children should be taught that a few percent of people that they will encounter are wired this way. The vast majority are not the serial killer psychopaths portrayed on TV, but they are still dangerous people.

To be fair, this does sound like an accurate assessment of the Trump administration.

because we smell blood in the water? Dog pile!!! It’s obvious you are not a billionaire, and don’t have the cash to hire an even second rate legal team for any single one of the criminal investigations going on against you.

You reap what you sow.

People tend to be mean to terrorist leaders. Be happy you weren’t just killed in a drone strike.

treasonous terrorist leaders

Or with one of Putin’s new ‘nuclear torpedoes’ along with the rest of the west coast of Florida… and from the deeper areas of international waters.

I was being somewhat facetious at implying Trump has a “deep down” anything, and IANA psychologist, but ISTM both of my options reflect a sociopathic lack of awareness of anything other than his own wants and motivations. I like to imagine him vacillating between them as his blood pressure spirals until he collapses into a gibbering heap.

The most useful way to conceptualize Trump’s feelings and motivations is to imagine him being six years old. Literally, that gives you the most accurate impression of the mindset of Donny Two-Scoops, recipient of more ice cream than anyone else, thrower of ketchup-laden dishes against the wall, source of consternation among Secret Service when he throws violent tantrums.

And the Lincoln portrait says slowly, “Because you’re such a dip.”

trump: Why is Lincoln so mean to meee…?

Through choice or ability?

I’m not a psychiatrist, psychologist, or any other kind of doctor for that matter, so this is just my layperson’s view on this. It seems to me that sociopaths have only two emotions: anger at others and love of themselves. There is nothing more complicated than that for Tan the Conman’s motivations.

Because you’re exactly what is meant by a domestic threat to the constitution.

Also, because you’re not the president, you’re a very naughty boy.

He’s the MESSiah!
