It’s not just the lack of basic human decency-- it’s the low IQ. In the video, he not only said “she wouldn’t allow herself to be OBJECTED to it” (when he meant “subjected to it”)–he also proved that he can’t tell the difference between three and four:
Yeah, there were FOUR people at the table.
Math is hard! (All in all, I think we have to agree that Eric Trump was very wise in his choice to have been born rich. Being born less-than-rich would not have worked out for him at all.)
Ha, well played. There were several funny followups too.
But in all seriousness, I’m beginning to have to at least slightly reconsider whether he is trying to lose this election. At minimum, I’m going to be curious to see how many times, after all is said and done, I will have said some version of “I didn’t think he could still shock me” or “I didn’t think it was possible, but he has hit a new low”.
He was already teetering on the brink of losing Utah, which is unthinkable for any other Republican. Now I think he just lost it. They are all about babies in that state.
ETA: Wow, Christie. They have been friends for years!
No he’s not. He’s just spoken out against these particular Trump comments. He hasn’t withdrawn his endorsement or anything close to being “gone”. Pretty much every other elected Republican has done exactly the same thing.
I don’t think so. I think it’s the narcissist’s power trip of “I can do ANYTHING and people still adore me!”
I mean, he said it flat out, back in January:
That’s what all this bad behavior is–attacking gold star parents, ordering babies out, dissing fire marshals, and all the rest of the long, long list: it’s not that he’s trying to get people to reject him. It’s that he’s getting off on how he can do anything he wants to do, with no negative consequences.
I don’t know. He’s made some pretty strong statements against Trump’s attack on the Kahns. It’s kind of hard to continue publicly supporting someone after that and still be taken the least bit seriously.
How long can Republicans continue to criticize him and still maintain their support? Past a point (and I think it’s long past that point) you start to look ridiculous.
You know, I was really curious how the super Trump supporters were spinning all this garbage going on. So I went to a few conservative/Trump groups my dad follows on Facebook and they’re not even mentioning it. I don’t know why I was surprised but literally not a word about anything he’s said or done that’s been in the news. It’s all about how awful Hillary is and how awesome Trump is. I mean, I understand sticking your head in the sand but this is ridiculous. I looked at four or five of them and they all were doing the same thing. It’s shit like this that makes me worry he’ll actually get elected.
Clinton and affiliated PACs have reserved $98 million in TV ad buys through the fall. Trump and his allies have reserved not quite $1 million in ad time.
On the one hand, he’s doing frighteningly well without buying ads. On the other hand, what exactly is his campaign spending on?
Trump told a woman with a crying baby at one of his rallies that it was okay and he loved children. Moments later he changes course, says he was just kidding, and tells the lady to get the baby out of there.
I seriously think the guy is losing it.
Of course his fans ate it right up.
I would be the most unsurprised person on the planet to learn that the woman was a shill, only there so Pence could spout his “compassionate Trump” nonsense.
