Trump has been remarkably quiet on Twitter the last couple of days. I wonder if somebody took his phone away from him.

How many other national office candidates have had fights break out at their rallies and how many times? Seems like a serial thing with supporters of Mr. Trump.
I see a scared little man-boy, scrapping and clawing for “his” country right to the very end. The fear in his eyes is palpable.
Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to slapping and swatting.
Unfortunately this type of video doesn’t work on the device/browser I’m using, but I’m having an easy time picturing what you describe.

Well, THEY sure proved that Hillary’s characterization was completely off base.
Well actually her characterization *was *off-base but only because “mud-eating shit bags” wouldn’t have gotten by the evening news censors.
I believe his bottom lip actually quivers at one point.

Note that the woman he tried to slap held her camera phone up to his face while he was yelling at her, and I’m guessing not just for her own viewing later.
This is the sort of thing that could cause Trump to backslide. The violence that marred some of his campaign events, particularly the one that resulted in a cancellation of his Chicago appearance, is the sort of thing that might force voters to imagine life under Trump, and not in a good way.
Then at the end he says that the liberal media won’t report what just happened, as if the liberal media hides all these good things. Things anybody would be proud of, apparently.
Nothing is “apparent” this year.
A year ago Donald Trump said, “The problem we have right now—we have a society that sits back and says we don’t have to do anything. Eventually, the 50 percent cannot carry—and it’s unfair to them—but cannot carry the other 50 percent.” Sad!
Why do these Trump rallies remind me of faith healer gatherings?
