Trouble with rising up against the gummint, if you got kinfolk who are in, say, the National Guard, it could make for a very awkward Thanksgiving.
So Trump has given up on the racially-tinged speech, and moved right on to full-blown racist.
Outright tarnishing a perfectly qualified, unblemished judge simply because of his race. In a case that has nothing to do with race. I’m just gobsmacked that anyone with any morals whatsoever, or lick of common sense, can support this man as our next president.
“I’ll take ‘Obviously Rhetorical Questions’ for $200, please, Alex.”
Here’s a random article I found, which is from back in 2000, and airs some of the Trump family’s dirty laundry. Basically, Donald’s older brother, Fred Jr., was a disappointment to the old man (Fred Sr.); Junior wasn’t the businessman his father was, became a pilot, married someone Senior didn’t like, and he died an alcoholic at 42.
Later, when Junior’s daughter, Lisa, had a baby with cerebral palsy, Uncle Donald provided the absolute best, round-the-clock medical care, free of charge. But then she made the mistake of contesting Grandpa (Senior)'s will (he died at the ripe age of 93). Senior gave relatively little to Junior’s kids, and they felt entitled to their dead father’s “share” as 1 of 5 children.
In response to Lisa’s challenge of the will, Donald cut off the gratis medical care to her 18 month old son, William.

Now, that’s 16 years ago, and maybe fences have mended. But, given just how litigious Trump is, there must be legions of people who have disparaging stories to tell him.
I predict a sensational onslaught of negative press awaits.
For all the ones that are concerned that Trump is not losing his support* you should consider that Clinton only has to demolish that support among just a few of the Republicans and independents that are not willing to polish the turd. It is easier thanks to items like the one you are talking about here, because clearly the fig leaf that was used before when racist ideas did slip from republican candidates mouths is not being used by the current “fearless leader”.
Check this short Rachel Maddow video in this article, showing the mendacity and real hatred of Trump when continuing to attack the Judge in his Trump U case:
As things stand right now Clinton is still ahead in the polls, if too close for comfort consider that they are looking just as when Obama was over Romney back in 2012. The point for me here is that Clinton just has to remind her base about how radically incompetent Trump is to manage. Of course I expect her campaign to not “just” do that but also work more to let reasonable Republicans know about the dog they are sleeping with; on this election cycle there is IMO a good number of Republicans that I think will listen to the better angels of their nature.
- We have to realize that it is the Republicans who are now embracing bigotry, and now it is the time to demand to the ones that still have a conscience to stand up and not just lie down and become [del]yellow[/del] orange dog Republicans.
In the above post, I appear to have mixed up some of the facts of the baby’s lineage. Suffice it to say, Trump can be a very vindictive person, and I’m sure he can be “swift-boated” with lots and lots of people who will talk about his dickish behavior.

Ladies and gentlemen, the Republican party.
Nah, it’s just America in 2016; better start getting used to saying “President Trump”.
Since that outcome will be possible only at the cost of dividing America even more, I have to say no.

So, what are you doing?
I’m volunteering for the first time in my life to support the Democrats, and in the land of Arpaio, it will not be without risk.
(bolding mine)
Well, for the past few months I’ve been trying to call attention to the fact that Donald Trump is going to be elected president in November and challenging people to prove me wrong.
At first no one took me seriously, but now…
Earlier I said that I didn’t think Donald even wanted to be President (though few agreed). If he gets 48% of the vote, he’ll gain great prestige and brand-name recognition while still retaining his independence.
This is why his campaign financing has slackened, despite his own personal wealth. And why he indulges in behavior like
… And the GOP “establishment” has embraced Trump’s excesses!
With a rational electorate we could hope the GOP is now doomed. Instead, after Hillary’s election, the Trump-influenced GOP will just become more hateful and, I’m afraid, more successful
So, in other words, you’re doing nothing.
Rachel Maddow announces the results of a recent PPP Poll. Trump is less popular, among Republican voters, than traffic jams, less popular than lice, and less popular than root canals. Note that these are polls of Republicans, not the general public.
There is some hope for the Donald. While women prefer hemorrhoids to Trump, Donald Trump is more popular than hemorrhoids among Republican men.
What, practicing his “I told you so’s” isn’t something? Would it help if he learned it in Spanish too?
Yeah, but all that matters is whether these voters find him more popular than Hillary. Who I’m sure is less popular than hemorrhoids with Republicans.
Read the PPP article. (PDF) The poll was among all registered voters, not just Republicans.
Considering Ryan’s “endorsement” of Trump: if criss-crossing the country making full-throated rip-roaring speeches on behalf of a candidate is a “10” on the endorsement scale, shrugging “Yeah, I’ll vote for him, I guess, since Lyndon LaRouche isn’t on the ballot” is a 0.25.
So Trump has mastered the art of campaigning, Mitt Romney style. With every jobs report, run to a microphone, wail, and gnash your teeth. It worked so well for Mittens, it’s bound to work for Trumpy.
