If Trump weren’t such a stupid ass, I’d almost believe he’s running for president as simply a means to politicize his Trump University lawsuit and get a new judge. I bet he cares more about winning that lawsuit than winning the Presidency.

IMO, what Trump is really doing is attempting to negate the damage that may have been caused by the release of some of the accusations in the lawsuit. He’s trying to make it appear to his base and to those who may be undecided that incriminating evidence against him has been released to the public by a biased judge who has it in for him, while at the same time exculpatory information has been repressed. This serves to negate as much as possible the damaging information about his university which the lawsuit alleges, while at the same time making him look like the victim once again of bias, bias that he also points out frequently when it comes from the news media. So basically he’s saying “Don’t believe all this stuff about my university because you’re getting slanted and incomplete information that is deliberately designed to make me look bad.”

Yes, everyone can see that’s what he’s doing. However, slinging a pack of racist accusations that a judge is biased because of his race is not magically non-racist even if Donald is just saying it to protect his standing with his idiot racist fans.

In fact, undermining the American judicial system by making racist accusations about the judge for his own personal benefit is conduct unbecoming in a man who aspires to be President. By baselessly accusing the judge of bias for his own personal gain, Donald Trump shows himself unfit for public office.

I realize that this is not addressed to me - but I want to once again emphasize that no, Trump’s concerns about the Judge’s ancestry and the possibility that the Judge might be biased because, as Donald Trump insists, he’s building a wall - do not have a basis for a proper legal challenge against the judge.

Lol. To begin with, Sotomayor’s one remark in a speech she gave one time, 15 years ago does not mean that she believes that judges are incapable of being impartial in case which touch on their ancestry.

Secondly, Sotomayor expanded on that one remark during her confirmation hearing, in which she specifically rebuted the notion that judges are inherently biased in favor of their ethnicity:

So yeah, as a matter of fact, I do agree with Sonia Sotomayor.
