Friends, never discount your local animal shelter if you’re looking for a pet. You’ll probably find a treasure, like I did with Fiona.
I’ve gotten all my cats at local shelters, except for the kitten I found outside in the cold.

Thanks for the bump. In the past, I’ve had four that were found and two that I got from a vet’s office. Currently, though, I’m living with someone who’s allergic.
There will, in the future, be another cat. Bump.
