I keep feeling like maybe I’ve met somebody from somewhere before, maybe kinda sorta? So, where else do you hang out, online or irl?

So, anybody know me? Where do you hang out? Where did you grow up?

shrug Somebody else is the undictator of the place. I keep meaning to get tiger stripes painted on Karma, but I’m poor. And she’s rather beat up at this point. But indeed silver and little.
But, come on people! A bunch of you have read this, list where you hang out! Don’t you want the pleasant surprise of finding out that some random person is a fellow doper?

Since I just lurk I won’t bore you with my list, but I currently live about 5 miles from this church you mention and grew up about 10 miles further up the beautiful Maumee River.
Yay! So you might have known (of) my parents? We lived on 2nd St across from the church. I was last there in… sheesh, uh, '89, maybe. Did you ever go to the Apple Butter Fest? Has anything changed at all? Is the A&W with footlong hot dogs still there? (I know it was out of town, but I don’t remember how far. I was only in first grade after all.)
Online I am:

I’m me everywhere online. The only places I don’t use this username are places I’m trying to be incognito.
Offline, I pretty much stick to myself. I was born, raised, and spent most of my life in a small town called Cleveland, Tennessee, where I went to the city schools, and neither me nor any of my family really get out in the community.
Wow. '89. I graduated from Otsego High in '90 and wasn’t much of a church-goer then so I probably didn’t know them, but might remember the name. Lots has changed. The A & W is gone. They have really developed the canal downtown with parks and bridges. It’s really pretty. I attend the Apple Butter Fest every year, most times helping stir that wonderful concoction. They retired the Bluebird (scenic train ride) after a sizeable flood washed some of the tracks out. The middle school was finally condemned but the elementary is still there. The “downtown” area still has all the craft shops but the hardware and the pharmacy closed down after the owner passed away about 5 years ago. The north side of town has really bloomed with 40+ houses and the south side now sports a small retirement community. If you ever happen back this way, treats at the ice cream shop are on me.
Awwww… My mom painted some something for the Applebutter Fest way back when and painted a window for Christmas - I don’t remember for what store. They’ve got some bad memories - y’know, all the shit that happens to adults, but I was too young for any of it to really affect me.
About your username, are you actually a Reverend? Or just online?
I think all small towns are like that. Plus, parents always try to shield their kids from the shit that goes on, especially stupid petty shit (small town politics).
I am a freelance minister. Not affiliated with any set church but I do weddings, baptisms, funerals and do some guest sermons around the area.
