Don't miss tonight's episode of Scrubs - My House

From tvguide:

I’m very excited about this episode because I’ve been making fun of House and his creator’s desire to make him into a Dr. Cox-type doctor but never quite got it right in terms of his rough edge vs. soft spots. Now I can see Dr. Cox do it the way it should be!

“Oh Perry, you’re so edgy and cantankerous, you’re like House without the limp.” - Dr. Kelso

Thanks for the heads up! I was assuming everything was still in reruns.

Did anyone actually watch this one, instead of just looking forwards to it?

Just caught it, and I’m happy that this series is up to momentum now. It started slowly like the last one, but scrubs is back the way I like it.

Loved JD on ‘his’ mercedes, and the Janitor’s mural was brilliant, hope it stays as a feature in Elliot’s office.

…what’s going to happen in the Carla storyline?

It was a good Scrubs episode, although I have to say it wasn’t quite what I expected.

I’m definitely not an avid viewer of House, but last night’s episode wasn’t the parody I was expecting… just a lot of potshots at a show similar to them. I find Scrubs funniest when they are subtle about their jabs, and there was nothing subtle about last night’s episode. I do have to say that finding an excuse for Dr. Cox to limp was excellent.

I’m not familiar with the inner workings of a hospital, but why does Elliot get to have an office at Sacred Heart even though she’s now a private practise doc? Is Kelso so short on cash he rents out offices or is it common procedure in hospitals??

…This episode kind of clinched it for me. I don’t ike Scrubs. It’s ridiculously predictable at every turn and not really all that funny. Did anyone else NOT know that Carla was the one crying? Yet those obnovious voice overs at the end treat all the by the book, spell it out sloooowwwwllllyyyy for the audience plot points in each and every episode.

Even the Janitor is boring to me now. Dr. Kelso is still funny…not enough to keep me watching though.

It’s common for private practices to be associated with hospitals and to have offices on or near the hospital grounds.

“What has two thumbs and doesn’t give a crap? Bob Kelso.”

I was more excited when they said something about Grey’s Anatomy being just like their lives. I had commented to my ex that the shows were basically the same, only one a drama and one a comedy.

You forgot “How ya doin’?”
