The pictures are pretty impressive. For a random, senseless act of destruction this ranks pretty high.
That poor truck will never be the same.
Anyone remember James Garner’s movie Tank? Same idea.

Actually this guy would be closer, if crazier and more prepared after turning his bulldozer into this with concrete armor.
So, he was pissed that his neighbor’s fence was too close? Wonder how tight those prison cells are feeling.
Thankfully this guy wasn’t quite as crazy or angry. The reports don’t mention any issues arresting him.
I can understand his frustration. Neighbor problems are the pits. Guess this time it just boiled over.

By issues I meant he didn’t resist arrest. He knocked a few houses down and went to jail.
The other guy Der Trihs mentioned nearly took out a Swat team and committed suicide to avoid arrest. A much more tragic story.
I know a couple who were going through a divorce and the guy did this sorta thing to the house that his ex was likely going to be awarded. He used a front end loader/tractor to bust through windows and walls, dumping loads of composted horse manure into the building.
Don’t piss off a man with bulldozer.
My grandfather left me two pieces of advice. That, and if you ever go back in time don’t step on anything because even the tiniest change can alter the future in ways you can’t imagine.
I’d rather have a Sherman with the 90mm tube than a Cat D-9.
IIRC, there was also an episode of Malcolm in the Middle in which Hal got hold of a steamroller and did some damage.
Hmm. Now that Bryan Cranston (who played Hal) is on Breaking Bad, I’m wondering if they’ll do a shout out to that episode in Breaking Bad.
Even one of these?
a pity you didn’t listen…
Thanks for the story – kind of a funny.
Way OT, and I’m sorry about that, but I first thought on seeing the thread title that José (pronounced dzozé) Bové might have been back. Remember that guy? I think he might have been a Basque separatist, but definitely an anarchist, but he would frequently make the news when he and his confederates dismantled McDonald’s after McDonald’s somewhere in France.
Thought this thread might have been about him.
Wow. Big mess.
I quite like the “malicious mischief” charge: it somehow sounds like the minor naughtiness of a young child.
Inorite? I would have thought a “reckless” in there might have been apropos.
Now I can’t remember why I registered a few days ago – too much good stuff on here to not get pleasantly distracted!

If they’d add a 90mm tube to it we can talk.
Some more details. More in the article. This is just the highlights.
I see a house trailer was the bulldozers first target. They always ruin property values.
Look out, West Bank settlers!
“That was a sight to behold”? I like this guy.
Destroyer man should come and visit me, as there’s a big high-rise being demolished just across the road. Think of all the fun he could have helping with that.
