Don't tell anybody. A Big Secret MMP

Cute baby Rio

BLurf

Irking and it is irksome.

OK, that babby is definitely squee worthy. Well done Rio

I ain’t been posting lately ‘cos I ain’t been doing much. Irking mainly. Getting even more into the vegetable growing lark, and the bees (I did have bees last time I Mumped, right?) seem OK. Not much new, not much happenin’, at least unless and until the Sooper Seecrit plans come about. Mumbling along, really.

How’s you lot bin?

I don’t know where you’ve been lad, but I see you’ve won first prize!

It’s listing day. It’s listing day. My house goes on the market. ::Snoopy dance::

Here, it’s yet another day without getting DH’s SSDI from Social Security. All anyone can seem to say is that it’s “at the payment center.”

Where’s a hissy fit smiley when you need one?

Well, that was a waste of 25 minutes. I told the guy at the check in desk that I wanted to add my daughter to my car title. He told me to fill out a couple of spots on the back and he gave me a number. I waited for my number to be called, only to be told that I needed to fill out a form and have my daughter sign it before I could add her to the title.

EEEEEEESH!!*

At least they’ll accept a scanned, emailed version of her signature.

So with luck, I get to go back to MVA on Firday. Rah.

YAY Sunny

Sorry Gotti

My mulch calculating skills are pretty bad. I bought 3 bags thinking one bag for the little slot between our sidewalks and 2 bags for under the crepe myrtle out front.
We needed two bags for the little slot. It’ll probably take 6 bags for under the myrtle.
I’d rather have river rock for under there, but I think that will cost too much.

I got my hair cut today. Well, hairs, plural actually. With just a touch of coloring. As hot as it’s been, and even though I work inside, it’s going to feel great.

Cute baby pics!

Howdy Y’all! I’ve been kind of busy today. Besides the chikin and the makin’ of dindin, I went to the sto’ in Da Burg, went to the liberry, went over to the church house to arrange tables in the Parish Hall for the feedin’ of family on Firday and prepped stuff for the makeage of chikin sallit which will happen tomorrow. Go Me!

red even before I retired I got asked a fair amount to make chikin sallit for the bereaved. I am reminded of a lady in Ye OLde Home Towne who always made N.O.T. sallit for the bereaved. She was known for it but not because it was good. It was the most Og awful stuff in the world! She lived way up into her ninties so she did this for years and years and years. I’ve wondered just how many tons of that horrible stuff ended up in the landfill over the years.

Blurf.

We have ants in the kitchen. If anyone knows how to get rid of them, please let me know.

We had ants in our kitchen - I put 4 ant traps in strategic locations and we haven’t seen any ants since. YMMV.

I ran some errands. I ran Gordie around the block a couple of times. I went out for tacos.

Rockin’, have the uncles drive them home. Maybe put ant baits out where they are coming in?

swampy, I’d ask how can you @#$&&! up a N.O.T. salad, but I’ve seen 1950’s cookbooks. What were our ancestors thinking?

Sorry about the DMV hassle ,Moooommmmm!!!

Sorry about the SS check thing, gotti. :frowning:

Nut, we’ve been hanging in there. And you had bees last time around.

metal mouse, soccer requires assembly?

Sorry for your SS hassles, gotti.

I got the prescriptions transferred to the new town, made one last run to Goodwill and straightened out the change of unit number wit State Farm. The last load of laundry requiring quarters is done and a box for the teevee purchased as well as a couple more cartons sealed. I’s tahred!

Sounds like someone I used to know, except their famed thing was deviled eggs, or would you say aigs? I’d say ughs. There truly was a hex on them and her kitchen as they invariably were sweet  and often crunchy.

No idea what she put in them to be sweet, but the crunchy was shells.

Just got back from the EP. My implant is functioning perfectly, and the manufacturer’s rep who checked it out was a cute bear. What? I am poised to be back in the market…

One cannot help but wonder if your former minions are dancing at riotous parties and burning unfilled out time sheets. :dubious:

Cloves.

Your welcome.

The hardware store will have Terro. It’s my favorite ant poison and it really works. It’s not an instant kill, ants pick up the bait and take it back to the nest and spread the poison. In a day or two ninety percent will be gone, and stay gone. Ath that point I spray and put out a little more Terro.

I bought a couple of ‘rebounders’, for shooting and other drills. The metal parts all fit together nicely, but the wacko net holders have me bumfuzzled. May go to the Home Depot and get some small ties and use those.

**gotti**,hope things work out with the SSA. ** Red**, may your house sell fast and for 10% above the asking price.

Well, the rain passed and I finally got the yard mowed. 5 39-gallon bags and 1 30-gallon bag worth of clippings over two hours (it was 90F and some humidity so I took breaks) led to a afternoon bath, then changed and did some soccer coaching for two hours. If I don’t sleep good tonight, I never will…

After mowing and bathing, I heard a dripping noise in the bathroom. Turns out water was leaking from the overhead vent. Checked the internet (everything is on the internet) after putting a bucket in place, and figured out I had blocked up the outside outlets. Cleaned them out and everything is fine.

I also have bread and hamburger buns to go with the water, so my body should be well taken care of (HA!).

We use that.
Good stuff.

Terro works

Also cinnamon.
When I got them in my bedroom in the armpit, I put cinnamon around the base of my night stand and it kept them from climbing up it.
Between that and the cloves around the perimeter of my room to keep the mice out, my room smelled pretty good.

If you can find the ant hills you can pour boiling water in them.
