Holy Lord Jesus, this little game is addictive.

31,718.

I’m absolutely terrible at this game (I’m not even going to embarrass myself by posting my high score), but yes, it is extremely addictive. It’s the perfect ‘waiting in line with a few minutes to waste’ game.

Damn you.

Not only is it addictive, but it plays into my fear of heights. The longer I play, the higher the lil’ guy gets, and I start getting REALLY SCARED of falling. But fall I do. Damn you!

The high scores on there are truly unbeleivable. The top was like 5 million or something. You would have to play without error for weeks to get that score. I’m pretty sure people are exploiting some sorts of glitches or somehing.

Interesting point.

I actually just played a few games after I read your post here, and used a stopwatch to time how long it took to amass score. My estimate is that you get about 10,000 points a minute; it’s a fairly predictable relationship, since score is purely a function of how high you go.

So to get a score of four million, which I have seen claimed, you would have to play the game for 400 minutes, or over six hours. Without making a single error. I admit I find that hard to believe.

Given that a lot of seemingly experienced gamers are very proud of scores like 200,000, I agree that the claims in the millions are almost certainly either lies, hacks, or exploits.
