Yet another simple, elegant, addictive Flash game

Filler.

Fill 2/3 of the playing area with blobs that you grow by holding down the mouse button - you can move them while they grow - while avoiding the little balls whizzing around that can burst your bubble. The blobs are only vulnerable when they’re growing.

This is horribly addictive.

A little over 10000. It looks like there is a cheat, looking at the high scores.

Nah, you just need an entire day or two with nothing else to do. By the time I got up to 50 thousand it didn’t get any harder but you keep getting more balls and lives with each level.

Level 16 - 31000. I don’t see how the high scorer can have 47 million.

35k, then I got bored.

The high scorer has what??? That obviously was accomplished over many, many hours.

Bah. I quit. My neck hurts.

level 24–53,004

Okay. I can’t quit, but I sure as hell am going to take a long break.

I like the music.

Was playing last night at work with sound turned off, but today I heard the music.

I used to like you, jjimm.

I used to have free time, too. :stuck_out_tongue:

That’s not as bad as trying to trap that damned cat.

AAARGH! 65881, level 28, I CAN’T STOP! I HATE YOU JJIMM!

Got up to level 25 and am feeling twitchy. Must stop!

Daniel

I’m at level 47, and still going. Will it never end?

I hate you. It reminds me a little of jezzball, which used to be an addiction in my house until my new computer no longer had it. And now you start me on this,

Level 40, 105,590. I could see this going to a million, but my hand would fall off first.

I’m sorry for inflicting this on everyone. I have had to just stop playing else I go mad. I will not go back.

Why does a ball suddenly appear in the upper right corner out of nowhere?! WHY?!?

Now at level 54 (same game).

I think the game balance may be out of whack. It seems to get easier as the levels go up, because you get so many balls and lives. When I finished level 54, I still had 37 balls and 46 lives left.

I think those scores in the millions aren’t a ‘cheat’ they were just the people who don’t have lives.

Kind of like Qix, but with balls instead of lines. Pretty neat.

Level 67, 223207, and I quit

Would have been better if there was a set number of levels (like 30). That would encourage players to compete for high score based on their ability to complete the levels quickly and efficiently, racking up bonus points, rather than just who can endure the longest.

Ok, maybe I’m stupid or something, but I don’t get it. I hit around 100 repeatedly on Level I, never hit a bouncy ball and suddenly, Game Over. What am I doing wrong?
