Of course kids are invited! I’m dying to meet Dominic. And so is Kate.
There’s a playset out back and a lot of grass and such to run around in after the candy gets to them. It’ll be fun!

When informed of the costume requirement, my wife glared at me and said, “I don’t do costumes.” (It’s true - I’ve known her for fourteen years, and have never seen her in one.) But now she’s busily thinking up ideas. You can too, Neidhart. You’ve got three and a half weeks, go to it! 
Okay, okay. I’ve actually decided to come in a real costume this year. I’ll leave y’all to figure out what it is. (Hint: It’s a food item.)

I will be there. I might not be able to give you a ride, Neidhart, depending on my plans before and after this dig. The odds are actually fairly low. Reason being that a friend will likely be in town and I’ll be entertaining her for the week (and end).
Maybe I’ll come as a caterpillar. Then next year, after the results of my surgery, I can come as a butterfly
