I think OpalCat and myself may be able to attend. We will post for sure shortly… Are we doing any kind of present exchange? Also, I just got Trivial Pursuit 90s edition, I could bring that 
I sure hope so! It’s very unlikely that we’ll be able to make Opal’s farewell party, so it would be nice to see you guys at Dope the Halls.
Fo’ real! This is probably the last MAD event Opal will get to attend for a long, long time, so that makes it even more important for her to come!
There is no gift exchange planned this year.
Is anyone allergic to anything that I might conceivably cook? The plan is still to do a turkey & trimmings. I don’t know that I’ll make a ton of cookies this year as there were SO MANY left over last year.
If you’d like to scale back your cookie baking, I’ll supplement with a few dozen.

Hey! That Darn Cat pointed me to this thread in a MB for the D&D game he runs (which was set up on a SDMB thread!) I don’t spend much time in MPSIMS, so I might have missed it otherwise.
I’ve never been to a Dopefest before, but I’ve had such a good time meeting Dopers through the D&D game, I definitely will attend this one!
Will anyone be driving from Metro stop? (I live in Takoma Park.) I can drive myself, but it’s a work car, and I’m afraid too many unauthorized trips to Baltimore might get me in hot water eventually. Plus, it would be nice to partake of holiday cheer!

Well, the planning in the weird-north household has reached the final stages. We’ll be getting directions out to everyone in the next day or so, but the time has come for everyone to pony up on what y’all will be bringing to the party. We have a turkey, and we’ll be making stuffing, gravy and a green bean casarole as well. Opalcat will be bring a broccoli casarole, but everything else is wide open. Who wants to bring what? Some suggestions:

A vegtable tray
Hor’dourves
Cheese
Wine

Something else I’m not thinking of at the moment.

Ah. I had told hubby that you hadn’t asked anyone to bring hard liquor, so if he wanted any (he doesn’t drink beer or wine) he had better bring some; I’ll update him, based on this post.
As far as directions, he’s pretty familiar with the Dundalk area (we both grew up in Glen Burnie), so we plan on just getting a little help off of Yahoo! Maps and we should be fine. We’ll also bring your phone number along just in case.
