I am N.Sane’s sister and not to hijack the thread, [hijack] but yes, there is one truly embarrassing event in my childhood amongst all the other garden variety childhood embarrassments. In order for me to tell there would have to be copious amounts of liquor involved. Since I don’t drink much these days, I’m afraid I won’t be telling. [/end hijack]

I do like my Shakespeare Festival mug. The kids and I shared out the chocolate first thing, then oohed and ahhed over all the other goodies. (I’m going to have to do another one of these exchanges so I can pay it forward. I don’t think I sent enough in mine.)
I thought the postcards were a good idea, and we were very interested to see your picture. I know y’all had a blast doing Our Town. I love to do theater, or at least I did, back in the old days!
I’m looking forward to sipping a variety of hot drinks in the evenings for the next couple of weeks. About the tea: My son is coming down with a cold, and I had just run out of decaf tea bags, so the timing was wonderful. The boy had a nice hot cup of peppermint tea with honey last night. I had chamomile, and the girl-child absconded with the gum.
It was really fun to get. And I hereby promise to quit hounding you about the incident.

We were discussing it yesterday, and I was laughing so hard I nearly crashed my car. She wasn’t laughing. For some odd reason, she doesn’t find it really funny.
