Hi Simetra. Glad to see you ahve taken the burden to get the ball rolling. I did not have much of a chance to figure out my on call weekends at work due to a puts putting in a 2 week notice. If you make a plan for March I can request that weekend off so I can attend.

I’ve been out of town for a couple of days for the ol’ job. I was up in Muscle Shoals, and managed to get over to the Alabama Music Hall of Fame. Damned cool stuff there. Anyway, we’re talking about the 10th of March, yes? Sounds good to me, and I think carpooling might be a fine idea, Sim. I’m sorry about the pool, but I haven’t had time to do anything recently. I’ve been packing in quality time with my girlfriend, who is moving from Montgomery to Huntsville tomorrow. 200 long miles…siiigh. 
I think Dreamland in T’town is a fantastic idea, and yes, it’s so much better than the one in Birmingham (to say nothing of the one in Mobile) that I don’t even know where to start.
It’s funny that you use these words to describe Dreamland, Tommy, because the restaurant’s motto is “Ain’t Nothin’ Like 'em Nowhere.”
Tripler, I’m glad you liked Montgomery. I hear a lot of bad press about this city, but I’m rather fond of it. A whole lot of stuff has happened here, and it’s one hell of an interesting place if you stop to look around.
Incidentally, I’ll be in the shining metropolis of Jasper tomorrow, so I won’t be able to respond until tomorrow night. Do try to get along without me.

Well, assuming I’m still calling the Southland home, I will be there on 3/10/01 … most likely carpooling or caravaning with Ogre from Montgomery.
And I think Montgomery sucks. So there, Ogre! And this after spending six weeks in Dullsville, USA (aka Nashua, New Hampshire) - Montgomery still sucks! So nyeh nyeh nyeh.

I went to Montgomery last year for ‘dining out’ when a friend of mine graduated from JSOC at Maxwell. Montgomery had a very unusual smell.
