I have to to admit I’m really surprised that I did it. I don’t consider myself an exhibitionist but I do enjoy the thought that so many people have seen me naked. It’s not a sexual thrill, though. It doesn’t arouse me. There’s no, “I’ll be in my bunk” action going on.
In the “Do you find the NSFW thread creepy” thread someone said that it just seemed like an excuse for some men to show their penis and I guess I’m guilty as charged. I did it in a playful spirit of “I’ll show you mine if you show me yours.” It was nice to show my penis to the world in a way that wouldn’t offensive or unsafe. And, I can’t deny it, I was hoping for A LOT of compliments. 
I don’t currently have an SO. The last woman I dated was the one who took the photographs. We remain good friends even though we’d broken up and as a visual artist she was the perfect choice to take the photographs.
Considering the kind of women I usually date, I think an SO would likely approve of and help with the pictures. ‘Let me use my knowledge of electronics to cover your skin in LEDs’ ‘Let me sew you a monk’s robe so you can do a nude Rasputin’, ‘Why don’t you pose with my stuffed dragon?’ ‘Let me cover your skin with authentic cuneiform’ etc.
Yes, I have an S/O. No, I didn’t tell him, but he doesn’t mind. Our relationship is an open one. He doesn’t mind my oggling other guys. Likewise, I don’t mind him doing the same. Our tastes are very similar so we can point out guys we like to each other.

I didn’t post a photo in this thread (well, I did but I was clothed in those) but I did send one to a couple of people who asked nicely. Given the context of the thread and the actual photo itself (you can see my tits but nothing else) I don’t think he would care. He would probably think it was pretty funny, actually. I’ve not told him about it but he knows I post here under the name pbbth and he is free to wander in here and read anything I say to anyone else. If he stumbles upon this thread or we are talking about it and he tells me he has a problem with it I will apologize and never do anything like this again. It wouldn’t bother me if he did something similar (especially if he put glasses on his wang like a couple of the posters here, which I thought was fantastically funny.) I think because the intent is not to titillate he would be fine with it. If I were sending pictures to men for the express purpose of winding up in their spank bank he might have an issue with it, and if he were doing that kind of thing I might also take issue with it, but since this is of a different nature I don’t think it would be a problem at all, otherwise I wouldn’t have done it.

He did mind at first. However when I talked to him about it and explained what the point of doing it was, he gave the green light. I think his issue was thinking that I wanted men to look at me and think “ooh sexy”, but that wasn’t it at all.
