Our first night together was my first in some time, and we did “it” four times. After that, it was anywhere from one to three times a week. Over the last three years? Only about 5 times, and that was almost 2 and a half years ago with my ex, with whom I’d “gone steady” for 7 years prior to that, during which we had sex about 3-5 times per week.
Before dating him, I was single for about 3 years (hmm, something about the number 3 and me), so a big ole zero then also. Prior to that 2 long term cohabiting relationships for 3-5 years each and an average of 3 times per week.
Before those 2 I was single for several years during my early to mid 20s, had a few one night stands (UGH hated them, that’s why I don’t do that now). So only 3 separate instances then.
Was married from 19-21, and he was more interested in pot than sex, so probably an average of once a month, if that.
One cohabitation with a wild musician prior to meeting husband, average 10 or more times per week (what? We were young!).
HS sweetheart only a few times, we were young and SCARED and very careful.
And I’m very bad at math, so you’ll have to do the averaging on all that!
