Hey all,

This was thrown together pretty quickly so I hope my coding works!

I need your help in choosing a new pair of glasses. I already have an idea of which I like but I wanted some input from all.

Tuesday I have an eye exam then I am off to get new glasses. So it’s up to the Teeming Millions as to what techchick wears a great majority of her day on her face.

Lenscrafters has a “survey” that you fill out to help you decide before you walk in the door what glasses fit you and your lifestyle. Using that I put the page up with a voting box.

Whatever happened to those enormous glasses that women used to wear in the 60s and 70s?? I suggest you find a pair of those frames… now that’s style, baby!

ICK jube, my mother wore those – eeewwww!

Sides the ones I wear now are late 80s plastic and ugly. Those glasses you see on the page are the ones that I really liked a lot. They broke and ended up using these old pieces of crap.

Finally I am getting off my ass and getting new glasses. It’s about time as I haven’t had an eye exam since 1994!

I would hope that you take it upon yourselves to only vote once. Otherwise it’s not a true vote. I threw it together quickly so I didn’t add any measures so you don’t vote again.

Just get disposable contacts, the world looks so much better in the morning.

I can’t wear contacts…my mental self does not like things touching my eyes.

You know it’s bad that your eyes get so irritated and you sit there and cry because you can’t put these little plastic things in your eyes. You know they don’t hurt but something about this foreign object in your eye is against all laws of nature.

I voted for #9 because they seem to be the same basic shape as the ones you are wearing in the pic, only a little smaller. I know when it comes to choosing glasses for myself, I tend to go for silver frames, usually similar to the ones I am replacing, so I did the same for you :slight_smile: Let us know which you choose.

My contacts bugged me for about a week, and now I don’t notice them. I wear a -6.00 in one eye, and it is so thin I can tell its there anymore.

Is there any way to superimpose them on an image of your face? OK, I mean, is there any easy way? It’d make it easier to tell what would look good.

Chronos, Nope. That would take far too much time to do that, if I could even could do it.

I voted for 11; simple and classic, and a lot like the glasses I wore before my current pair, which I actually liked better. But they’re all nice.:slight_smile:

I voted for #6, but I’d go with something a bit lighter than what’s shown in the picture.

I voted for #8. The current trend is toward the smaller, angled glasses. You’ll look really hip!

I voted for #4 because I thought the color would bring out your gorgeous blue eyes and I like the shape.

Of course, all of this will be moot because it’s all going to depend on how they look and feel once you actually put them on your face.
