Sunspace, ArchiveGuy, very nice! I wish I could go with something bolder, but a lot of frames overwhelm my face, since it’s kind of smallish.
These are my new ones:
They’re the titanium bendy kind, I can wrap the temple pieces around my finger. It’s a very cool metal and the only glasses I’ve had that haven’t corroded against my acidic skin.

Nope, but when I got them, I didn’t tell them to adjust the arms more behind my ears because I wasn’t thinking, and they’re too long so they slide down my face a lot. And I could go back but I’m lazy and have lived with these for a year or so. I don’t remember when I’m due for new ones next, if it’s not soon I will go back to get the arms fixed though, because it is positively annoying to always be pushing my glasses back up on my nose.
I actually stuck with the plastic frames because I have a tendency to fall asleep with my glasses on, and I used to break all my wire frames. I’ve been wearing plastic ones like these for 7 or 8 years now and never had any problems. And they look cooler on me I think.
Here are mine. I didn’t think that style would look good on me at all, and I was leery at first when I tried them on but they grew on me after the second try and I ended up getting them.
I’ll forward the thanks to my wife, since she’s the one that came along and picked them out. After all, (a) she has to look at me more than I have to look at myself, and (b) I can’t see a thing when I try the sample frames on, so what the hell do I know anyway?
These are my first frameless ones, and even though the peripheral vision was slightly different than I was used to, they’ve worked out just fine… 
Really? You don’t have a “backup” pair of glasses? There’s only been one time in my life that I didn’t have a pair of glasses as a backup to the contacts, and that kind of sucked.
ArchiveGuy, good point about not being able to see while picking frames. I usually try to narrow it down while I am not dialated, because afterwards, well, it just isn’t easy.

If I’d a digital camera, I’d try getting a picture of mine-- somewhat similar to yours, a bit thicker plastic. Perhaps it’s best I don’t though, since my face is kinda crooked; IRL people think I look good in them, in still photos, the glasses look like they’re at a tilt.

One thing I’ve noticed over the years is my frames have gotten smaller and squarer than when I first got glasses, and these are the thickest ones I’ve had also (all the others were thin wire frames) but they look the best. The round ones just made my ovalish face look fatter.
I’d like to see if you can get a picture though.
Another thing, you can’t see it in the photo but the black is backed by pink (and just a touch of blue sandwiched between) which adds a hint of colour. I didn’t like the completely black as much, or the brighter colours.
I don’t have a picture, but I recently replaced mine, and I tried to go for the smallest lenses that looked okay on me because I know those big ol’ eighties style frames are so not cool anymore. But I don’t really like them. Next time, I’m going to get some giant frames and wear 'em til they come back in style.
I wore contacts for 15 years and never had a backup pair of glasses! Once I had the contacts, I couldn’t see through my glasses, though they were the same perscrption. Something abut the contacts making my corneas swell? I haven’t worn contacts since the early '90s though, so it may be different now.

These are my current eyeglasses, only mine are a green. I am due for a new pair in May or so and I’ve already decided that these in Mocha/Avocado will be mine.
And these are my sunglasses, except mine are a limited edition clear/whitish color. Love them.
