Girls who wear glasses

I am attracted to women who wear glasses. Am I in the minority here? Over the years, afew women who had recently gotten contact lenses have asked me if I though they looked better without their glasses. Silly me, I told them the truth. :rolleyes:

I’m not attracted only to women who wear glasses, and I’m not attracted to all women who wear glasses, so I don’t think it’s a fetish exactly. Unless the glasses are really goofy-looking, it makes the women look smarter, and I do like smart women. I guess some men like their women dumb as a post and twice as thick, but not me.

So tell me: Do you make passes at girls who wear glasses?

My boyfriend likes it when I wear glasses, so count him in. He thinks they make me look studious, intelligent, cute, etc. I barely ever wear them though, so when I do it’s a real treat for him.

I like gals with glasses. Can’t pinpoint why, but must girls - most people in fact - just look better with a nice pair of glasses.

You betcha! My wife wears glasses. She used to wear those hideous upside-down looking dealies from the late 70’s. (Think Peggy Hill). But now she wears the little wire frame type.

I like girls who wear glasses. I think it makes them look “studious, intelligent, cute, etc.”

But then, I like small-breasted women with brown or black hair too. Kind of the opposite of what a stereotypical male likes.

I have tortoise-shell glasses - I wear them very rarely. I wore thick, distorted lens glasses as a child and was teased mercelessly. Every time I put them on, I hear guys don’t make passes at girls who wear glasses in my head over and over again. I try…but I’m too self-conscious.

The moral of the story is, you guys are making me feel better. Maybe one day I will be able to wear them in public and not feel hideous. :slight_smile:

I concur with the OP wholeheartedly. But not sunglasses. As much as regular glasses make my heart go pitter-pat, sunglasses leave me cold. Regular glasses accentuate the eyes, while sunglasses hide them. A woman’s eyes can be so beautiful and expressive.

One of my boyfriends said he liked dating girls with glasses (like me) because he always knew

Men look great in glasses. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a man, no matter how gorgeous, who didn’t look just a little bit better with glasses. Very sexy.

I’m a specs-wearer myself. I was never really interested in contacts - I look better in my glasses. Nacho4Sara, be proud of your glasses - there are lots of people out there who are attracted to the myopic look.

Yeah, I have a definite weakness for women with glasses. Cute, studious, all of the above, there’s the implication that her curiousity takes precedence over vanity.

And I believe the original quote is “Men seldom make passes at women who wear glasses.” (italics mine) Dorothy Parker left herself a little room to maneuver on that one.

Of all the females I’ve met who wear both contacts and glasses, I think each looks better with glasses.

I dig chicks with glasses. I also dig chicks without glasses.

Personally, I never wear my glasses, because I think they’re hideous and large. As soon as I get good looking specs, I may start wearing glasses a lot more often.
