I was watching TV this morning and happened to see an Oscar Mayer commercial, with the “I wish I were an Oscar Mayer weiner” song. This has been around so long, I’m sure everybody knows it, but I’ve been going crazy trying to remember the original song that this tune belongs to. I’m thinking it’s some childrens’ song, but I can’t for the life of me think of it.

Anybody?

I’ve never heard that tune as anything but the Oscar Mayer Jingle (and I’m 40). But if you want it out of your head…
