I’d kind of like to meet Kalhoun, because we seem to agree on almost everything; and Lekatt, because we seem to agree on absolutely nothing.
I am thinking of chaning my user name to What am I? Chopped liver?
Well, I’ve met gobear, siege, Guinistasia, Johnathan Chance, RTFirefly, Polycarp, Airman Doors, Ms Robyn, Scuba Ben, iampunha and fizzestothetop, and lots more at the most recent Maryland area Dope-A-Ween (I’ve singled these names out because they’re the ones that have already been mentioned), and each and every one of them is as severely cool as you are thinking that they are!
I’m sure I’m going to leave out about 120 names here, but the Dopers I’d really love to meet that I haven’t yet are:
Qadgop the Mercotan: for his sage, sound reasonable advice, and all-around coolness.
Quasimodem: for being the best all-time cheerleader in the SDMB’s ongoing weight-loss thread.
Scylla: for being funny enough to make me snort Diet Vanilla Coke out of my nose, and a conservative to boot!
Honestly, I can think of very, very few Dopers that, given a chance to meet them, I would say “Nah, I think I’ll pass”. I love you guys!

How sweet! There should be a thread for Dopers you’ve met but didn’t get nearly enough time to talk to them. Then I could fill that in with all kinds of folks, like Hamlet, Eva Luna, FisherQueen, Ed Zotti, Nymysys, Gundy, Tiburon and, well, just about everyone of youse I’ve ever met in person, which is way alot but way too few.

I’ve met Horseflesh. He is quite a character. And I love his kids.
I’d like to meet all the teenage Dopers, but especially Aslan of Narnia because he’s my special buddy. Also xgxlx, even though he’s not a teenager anymore.
Where to start? Perhaps with the ladies who have felines in their names: EddyTeddyFreddy, CrazyCatLady, KrisferCat, OpalCat- and those who share my love for cats, such as Baker.
