I have to make an appearance at a baby shower Saturday in Gadsden at noon so we will be a little later than I anticipated earlier.
I am bringing condiments and buns. I can pick up some plates and utensils if no one has already done so. Somebody just let me know.
I’m guessing we will make it to the park around 3:30/4:00 ish.

My brother and I are safely back from vacation #1 (NYC) and are in prep for vacation #2 (ATL). We will be in Cartersville ~4p Friday afternoon. Quasi, GeoBabe, I’ll be e-mailing y’all with my cell number so I can keep up with what’s on for Friday and Saturday night. Also, the e-mail address I use here I check on the road, if T-Mobile’s data services are willing, so you can probably keep in touch with me that way too, in case I don’t answer my phone.
Since I’ve only gotten a definite expression of interest from Quasi, the boat is off. If we were a little better set financially, we’d go ahead and take a chance that some folks would show up, but we can’t afford to take the hit if we end up having to pay for all or most of it. Sorry.
On a different note, **Bambi ** gives me an idea…I can put together a list of cell numbers if anyone is interested. Might be good to have a few numbers just in case we need to get in touch with each other. If you wanna be on the list, email me your digits. My screen name at gmail.com.

If so, you are two exits north of the park. If you’re going north on I-75, get off at Exit 290, turn right, and then look for a Wendy’s on the right side of the road. The Econolodge is behind the Wendy’s.
To get to the park from the Econolodge, print out the excellent map that NinetyWt provided. See down there at the left side of the lake, where it says “Bethany Bridge?” That’s the road that goes to exit 285 on I-75. Assuming you’re up there at Exit 290, just get on I-75 and go south two exits. Get off at exit 285, turn left, and follow the signs to the park. You’ll have no trouble.

then you’re south of the park. That’s exit 277. To find the motel, again assuming you’re going north on I-75, get off at exit 277 and turn left. Now you’ll be on Cowan Road. Cross over Acworth Drive/Baker Road, and look for a Publix grocery store. The Econolodge is next to it. To get to the park, get back on I-75 at exit 277, go north up to exit 285, get off there and turn right.
